After seeing the sweet 10th doctor stuffie that Spookypooky made I wanted to make my own 9th Doctor since i'm madly in love with Christopher Eccleston and will marry him one day Smiley. I've never made any kind of doll or stuffie before in fact I can not sew to save my life.. But I think he turned out pretty darn cute. I gave him the signature black jacket and maroon shirt, black pants and shoes. He also has the widow's peak and his large ears ha.. He's my new best friend. My mom thinks I need to make him his Tardis so he doesn't feel so lost..

5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Harry Potter Recipe Swap. on: December 24, 2011 01:05:07 PM
I thought it would be so fun to come up with our own Harry Potter recipes.
I imagine a lot would have to be candy and cookies considering many things can not easily be sent through the mail.
But that's where I was thinking we could also come up with other recipes, make them and take photos and create recipe books to send to our partners along with the cookies and candies we make to send.
And any new recipes we make could be added to the Harry Potter recipe thread, so we can build the thread up Smiley
Not sure how that all came out lol but hopefully you get where I was trying to go. I think it could be so much fun and of course it would happen after the new year.

Of course the recipe book could contain your version of recipes already posted.. But it would have contain at least a certain of number of your own recipes. The amount we could figure out later
6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Outside Christmas Tree on: December 22, 2011 11:18:29 AM

The tree is made out of soda cans. And over 600 Christmas lights.. The cans are hot glued to a piece of plywood, and some brackets

7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / For my niece on: December 22, 2011 11:09:11 AM
So I asked my niece what she wanted for Christmas and she said she wanted me to make her one of those paper Harry Potter wands. But I took it a step further and hand carved her one

It's painted gold with a black handle the wrapping is hotglue painted in silver, with a green jewel pressed into the end

My brother is in the military my niece is very much into him being her hero so I made her alittle keepsake box and filled it with pics of her and my brother, parts of his uniform and different things that represents him Smiley
8  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Dexter Swap? on: December 01, 2011 02:32:12 PM

I was thinking with the season finale on its way it would be fun to do a Dexter swap. It would be after the holidays of course since so many people have so much crafting on their plates already.

Would anyone be interested after the new year?
