Lovely sweater, tajhia!

Yes, I finished the crochet edge....not sure I did it correctly but it turned out nicely.
I sent it off to Chicago yesterday!

This is my finished 3-hour sweater. I made for a friend's birthday but I haven't sent it off to her yet because I still haven't added the single crochet on the neckline or the little pearl button. The reason for not adding the crochet is that I can't remember how to do it. Can anyone help me? Huh

So, I finished the front piece and am awaiting my order from Joann's with another skein of SS to finish the sleeves. I hate when I'm delayed due to yarn insufficiency!!! Grrrr  Lips sealed
Silly question...are the sleeves supposed to be knit on the larger needles used for the body of the sweater or the smaller used for the ribbed waistband???

Ok, so after frogging my work for the second time ( Shocked ) I'm finally on track! I decided that I was going to find a use for the lavendar mohair I bought ages ago at a thrift store, but it seemed much too thin on it's own. I decided to use it double stranded with some Caron Simply Soft in violet(?). I'm finally happy with the resulting fabric. Now I finally get to attempt the infamous 3-hour sweater!!! I used US 9's for the ribbing and am in the process of bumping up to US 11's for the body. Here's my progress so far:

now that christmas is over, i can get back to the sweater.  i'm currently trying to make a good graph for the skull for the sleeve.  i also need to get some #5 circs so i can start on the sleeves.  the main body piece is finished as far as i can go for now.
Will this do...
