Hi guys!

I received from pixieval while I was on vacation...it was exciting to come home to a great package!

I got instructions and supplies to make a tote bag...something I have always wanted to try. Cute fabric, especially the trees one for the inside.

Thanks again pixieval! I love it.

I received an awesome kit from patchworkdragon today. She found the perfect fabrics and accessories for me.

Here is the loot....

First, a group shot. I am impressed with the organization and detailed instructions.

She made me a really cute wallet as an example.

A picture of the accessories. Love the skull.

And the fabrics. Great colours and patterns. I love the white with red flowers, and the white with the black pattern down the middle.

Thanks again!! i love it!!!

Hi guys,

After a flaker, a wait for an angel, and a postal delay, my package has at long last arrived! Here are the goodies...

A group shot. I got a crochet roll, some pretty jewellery, and a cute bookmarker...all very girly! My angel found out that I love chick lit I think!

Here is a close up of the crochet roll, jewellery, and bookmarkers.

Thanks Ichigoheaven!

I received from gigglygirl today and received an amazing package!

I got a beach tote, two really beautiful books thongs, and a warm scarf.

The tote is really cute...reversible with lots of handy pockets, and in patterns that I love as well!

Gigglygirl, you must have a dog because both of mine were going NUTS when I was trying to open the package. A picture of my puppy with the scarf on, just because I can...

However, the scarf is going to keep ME warm all winter, not her!

Thanks so much gigglygirl...I loved everything!

I apologize for this taking so long to post...I really have no excuse. I received a wonder package from la_fille_muette...and here are the pictures:

First, a group shot. A cool 50's apron that matches my kitchen perfectly, a retro dishtowel, a cute tin, some yummy cookies, and some adorable, miniature fridge magents. Also included was an old picture of a 50's woman for inspiration, and some pearls with a note reminding me that every 50's woman needs her pearls!

Next, an action shot of the dishtowel on my stove.

A better shot of the apron and picture.

And finally, a picture of the fridge magents. Love, love, love them.

Thanks again!

I received! I received!

First a group shot...

My dog was very interested in the different smells...

And a shot of the yummy soaps she sent along for inspiration...

My favourite is the vanilla and lemon....no, wait, vanilla, black currant and nectarine..., no, the vanilla and honeydew...I can't decide, I love them all!

Some of the scents leaked in the mail, but I managed to salvage enough to make lots of soap.

Thanks a million cassiecate! I can't wait to get started.

10  It's either me or the squirrel.... in Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Discussion and Questions by aquamarine007 on: July 10, 2008 05:13:32 PM
So, I love putting out birdfeeders, but I think I either have a squirrel or a raccoon problem. They have figured out how to open every birdfeeder I have put out. I started buying the mesh bags with the seed bells in them and hanging them on a skinny branch but the birds are having trouble landing on it because the branch makes the bell bounce around.

I am pretty sure it is a squirrel because one of the feeders I pout out was in a box and the corner was chewed off very neatly. I think a raccoon would have done more damage.

Tree and birdhouses

Wooden birdhouse - they have learned how to slide the plastic part up so all the seed falls out

Destruction of paper bird house

Seed bells on a very shaky branch

Any suggestions for deterring a pesky squirrel?
