51  robot costume in Halloween Costumes by puppybreath on: July 19, 2007 04:43:37 PM
I made this costume so I could pass out candy at the coffee shop I worked at last year. I'm so proud of it I still have it. I thougt about wearing it the Transformers movie but my husband talked me out of it.

The fan didn't spin on it's own, but there are little LED lights throughout the costume. GAWD i love this

53  Knitted Doggy Goodness in Knitting: Completed Projects by puppybreath on: July 19, 2007 04:34:59 PM
I learned to knit by making things for my dog. This scarf was my knitting project ever.

Then I made her an Albert Pujols' jersey

Both these patterns were from "posh pooches" a very fun and easy book to use. A little untidily knit, but she just chews on them till I take it off her anyway.  Smiley

54  peacock t-shirt recon in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by puppybreath on: July 19, 2007 04:26:17 PM
I made this shirt out of two shirts. (no 'before' pics, oops, i got excited) A purple v-neck and a pink shirt with a peacock in the middle.

I cut a slit in the purple one and sewed in a section from the back of the pink shirt to make it fit better, then I (painstakingly) cut out the peacock and hand sewed him onto the front.

I had to chase my dog outside in the rain, thats why i'm wet. I was thinking about putting some beads in the feathers to give it some sparkle. but that might be overkill. anyway, thanks for looking!
