1  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / My Etsy Idea on: March 25, 2008 03:14:31 PM
So here's my idea an affordable pen and ink drawing posted on etsy everyday for the rest of the month and into next month as well.  It may just help me stop neglecting my poor etsy shop.

Stop by and let me know what you think about the Drawing a Day series
2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Four Easter Bunnies for Four Neices on: March 21, 2008 06:44:30 AM
I made some wooly bunnies for an Easter gift for my little neices.  I used the wool left over from woolen sweaters I have been using for my babies diaper covers.  I hope they like them.

I downloaded the free pattern here:

Here are some crib shoes I made last night.  One is for a friend of mine who just had a little girl, the other for a friend who had a boy.  They are made of woolen felt and lined with material thrifted from bed sheets.

6  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Felt Play Eggs on: February 24, 2008 09:49:14 AM
Do they fold in on themselves so they are the hole egg?
No, but that would be really cool.  There are two differnet types of egg.  The hole egg and the hard boiled.   They where super fast/easy.  The whole project took about 45 minutes from digging through my fabric to tidying with the dust buster!
7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Felt Play Eggs on: February 23, 2008 03:41:18 PM
I had the best intentions of making a whole pantry of felt food for my two year old neice's birthday.  This little girl loves to eat and I know she will enjoy having some play food.  I'm sure you can all relate to big intentions getting scaled back to a smaller project.  I finished 12 whole eggs and 6 eggs over easy during my baby's nap.  The rest of the pantry of felt food will have to wait.  Maybe I"ll have a pantry finished by Christmas?...
