21  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: One Tiny Holiday Ornament (SU-Sept 4-15; SO Oct 16/13) on: October 03, 2013 07:02:37 AM
Thanks to those who have pm'd me to say they've posted. I've been checking in on my phone this week but hopefully will update senders in the gallery partnering lists this weekend.  Crazy busy week.

I keep forgetting to take a photo because I'm totally all done. Will snap a quick phone pic and post tomorrow.  Will be nice to get a headstart on the international post wait.

I love both sides!  Will the granny square side kick out more heat because of the holes?

Hmmm good question, probably yes, will pretend I was x
Clever enough to think of that first.

Thanks for the lovely comments it was such a fun project  Grin

It's getting colder here in Canada (booo) so I decided to make myself a Crochet Hot Water bottle cover, it was a fun project and does the trick, no burnt toes for me.

I just made the pattern up as I went along to be honest, apparently all Hot Water bottle manufactures seem to differ slightly on size and shape so I didn't write anything down.

First time trying out as Granny rectangle, and posting to the Crochet board too  Shocked

The back which I am reliably informed by my 4yr old son is the 'boy side' !

I have more photos and info on my blog (link in my signature) if you want to see more

Thank you Gamemom, here we go some of the pics. It was hard to get all the detail in, I have more on my blog if anyone is so inclined to check them out. The pincushion was made around an old sauce bottle lid so it's recycled too (my fave type of crafts  Grin) Gamemom likes Paisley hence the swirly details.

Finished my holiday ornament swap and got some great ideas for this swap, a great new technique I got to try out. Lots started and cut out just not many finished items to brag about.

Got a girls only crafty retreat in the beautiful Rockies at the beginning of November so hoping to be finishing up ahead of schedule, definitely need to pull my socks up. Busy night of sewing methinks

Checking in. I'm a stalkin' and mulling many ideas. I am hoping for a light bulb moment!

This is one way to get in the holiday crafting mood. Now I have lots of ideas.

Crafting can be very sneaky!

I don't envy my swap partners sifting through over 4000 pins on my Pinterest Account, downloading the ap to my phone was definitely my downfall lol  Shocked
All finished up and ready for photos And posting out.Really happy with how it turned out will be making myself a set of these too, even got to grips with a new finishing technique I'll be using again for sure.
Need to brush up with how to upload photos here, it's been so long.

I'm finishing a poppet as well. But the mind is mulling cider spices and holiday ornaments. This is great! It also gets me started on holiday presents and things for craft fairs. Fun!

Lol, I found a great idea just need to get cracking!
