1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Purl Bee Beret... I feel so trendy on: August 31, 2007 01:27:03 PM
I whipped this up quickly in the last few days... sorry for the bad picks and the greasy hair... it is so hard to take a good picture of yourself in a hat!

Pattern details:
Pattern: Purl Bee Beret Pattern
Yarn: Kogiu - 1 1/2 balls
Needles: Size 3.25mm
I followed for the pattern for the whole thing, which is an oddity! The only problem I have with it is that it is a little loose so I will need to use some bobby pins. But otherwise, I love it!
2  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / In dire need of a crafty way to get rid of oily hair... on: August 13, 2007 08:04:08 AM
Hi Gals and Guys of Craftster!
After years of lurking i am finally delurking myself. Smiley

I have a problem in which i need your crafty genius for. I have really long, thick, wavy/ almost curly hair and for some reason its always greasy....I mean i wash it and all of it will dry but my roots will look as if I haven't touched them in days ( I can turn paper clear) but the bottom looks normal.

Does anyone have any remedies at all? anything that I can cook up in my kitchen/bathroom or even products that are available at the drugstore... I am desperate! I feel like I have tried everything!
