2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Scarf: Is it really ugly or is it just me? on: December 02, 2005 08:39:38 PM
I dont like it. At all. I'm really glad that people had the courage to come out and state their true opinion without being yelled at.

If you don't gift it, give it to a homeless shelter. It's better to have someone there use is than to have it lying around your house.

6  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / what to knit!? on: October 31, 2005 11:22:43 AM
i just finished spinning my first batch of roving. I have about 6 ounces and it would probably look nice knit up on 13's or 15's. Does anyone know what I can make? i dont want a hat, scarf, or purse (i have about a million of those!). would glampyre's one skein wonder be good?
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Completed "Hipster" from the new Knitty on: September 25, 2005 08:41:50 AM
you know, looking at that, it could also be a normal handbag to put over your sholder. i love your colors. awsome!
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: knitty's cut your teeth socks on: September 18, 2005 07:27:53 PM
They look great! I feel your pain though - I just finished a sock and can't decide if it's even worth it to knit another one.

i get down in the dumps like that too, but it is so satisfying to snuggle up in socks you made. plus you get all happy when you look at your feet!
