Alright, so here is a photo of the 'funky orange' stuffed koi Murbeck sent me.
He's really hard to photograph, but he is really, really cute!

So heres another one that came together really creepily.
The book is called 'texas tramp' I scribbled out the texas bit, 'cause Ive always liked the word tramp.
I reach into my box and pull out...THE PICTURE IN THE TOP CORNER. No joke, first piece of paper I pull out is a naked woman. The next I pull out is...another naked woman. I pulled her off the page though. Next came the cigarette, whats trampier than a ciggy I ask you?
Then came the little ballerina girl, so I decided to make her be 'dreaming' of being, pretty much a whore when she grows up, because that is basically what the little girls i see these days becoming.
I then wrote the text 'she dreams of nights spent on her back in sleazy, smokey motel rooms. In a few years her dreams will...come true ballerina'
I'm not so sure about the text though, or this whole page in general.
Like I said, 1.30am was bound to be a failure.
The picture:

Any suggestions?

Alright, here goes.

I choose a page in my book (which is falling apart and absolutly useless) which was half text, half an image. I did the background red, no reason why I chose it, it was simply the only paint I could find. Then I went through an old newspaper and cut out words that stood out to me, not thinking at all how they related to me or each other. I came up with the phrase and put them around the girl in the image, she was the 'star'. I opened my holepunch and was gunna glue lots of circles but it was too stressful so I went crazy with the red paint, (added mroe after I took this photo!) felt it was still too empty, so I added the triangles down the side. No prizes for guessing who I stole THAT idea from!!!
I like the way it all came together without me even planning it.
I know its nothing spectacular but I'm happy with it as a first go!

I would love any opinions suggestions or anything else you can give me, thanks!

First of all, I couldn't figure out if this should go here or somewhere else, but I figured I'd put it here.

Anyway, first of all THIS IS MADE BY MY MOTHER NOT ME.
Shes an art student and if this and another one of her pieces ( https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=188276.msg1974787#msg1974787 )is anything to go by, maybe a bit of a closet lesbian.

Happily sewing away, I wonder what all this lovely pink fabric will turn into...

Hanging it up...

Victor is BORN!!!

So yeah, its a big fabric vagina, that she has stapled to the door of her classroom.
There are about 20 more action shots, if you want to see more people being 'born'.

I just realised how f'ing cool my mum is.
I hope you enjoyed this.

And sorry again if this is the wrong place, this is 'art' though, isnt it?

Everything (except the shirt, which I am wearing!)

The gorgeous clock, guitar & leopard print journal, the wristlet with coinpurse, stamp, minijournal, and badges on top, and the box which is lined with the purple fur of one of the badges. (I would LOVE to get my hands on some more of that stuff!)

A better photo of the wristlet, I love it heeeaps! And can't wait to get a chance to use it.

And the nightmare before christmas shirt

8  Polymer clay necklace, (FIRST NECKLACE EVER!!) in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by cardigan on: January 24, 2008 10:01:18 PM
So, I made my very first piece of jewellery today, (if you dont count those crappy beaded things I made when I was 10..)

I just made a rectangle of Fimo, stabbed a whole though it, baked it, made some sushi, glued on a picture I printed off the computer, covered it in several coats of spray varnish, took some photos and then ate my sushi.

Close up!

Action shot!

Its a bit rough around the edges, and I will probably file them, but in all Im pretty damn proud of it!

Record purse, (that sadly has a wee crack in it now) measureing tape bracelet, barrel of monkeys badge.
There was also some really cool hairpins but they have decided to hide from me!

Action shot of the bracelet. I seriously never take it off
