1  Thousands of buttons=my prom dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by battersea on: April 11, 2005 04:31:44 AM
So, my mom made my prom dress for me for prom.  Prom was friday, and I loved the way I looked.  So, she got to buttons at our local craft store when it went out of business.  Also, she used about 30 yards of netting and tulle for the underskirt.  I went to prom, and everyone thought that my dress was bought! Well, except for the people who knew my mom made it.  Grin Well, here ya go!
me and my friend
Oh yeah, by the way, this was an old dress that I had to wear in the fifth grade about ten years ago.

Here is the picture.  When I scanned it, the white parts turned to a grey.

3  3 more cakes...(IMAGE HEAVY) in Dessert by battersea on: March 25, 2005 07:19:47 AM
So my friend, skaramouche, and I made 3 more cakes for her mom, our friend's dad, and our friend.  Her mom and our friend have the same b-day, and our friend's dad's b-day is the day before them.  We made these cakes about a week ago, and I am rather proud of the both of us.  Our other cakes were robo c4ke and the minibus van cake.  Well, here are the pictures.  One is risky business, the other is a chess board(even thought the recipient doesn't play chess), and the other is for a friend who loves to stencil(his face is in the tv).

4  If they mated.... in Stenciling: Completed Projects by battersea on: February 23, 2005 05:46:43 PM
So...I had a four day weekend, and I decided to make a shirt of a stencil that I made a couple of months ago.  It makes me laugh every time I see it, and I hope all of you enjoy it as well.  It is six layers, most of which I had to free-hand in on my own.  Well, here it is in all of its glory.

Sorry about the monstrous pictures, but I have yet to figure out the picture hosting on here.  I still think this is what the Colonel's and a chicken's baby would look like.
