11  Some stuff for a swap. . .(omg_word, don't peek!) in Knitting: Completed Projects by sprinklez on: August 27, 2007 05:39:35 PM
Wrist warmer/fingerless glove things.

A scarf. It looks white in the picture but it's actually yellow.

Let me know what you think. I'm a beginner. :]

12  Knitted neckerchief for Sirius in Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects by sprinklez on: August 19, 2007 12:30:38 PM
I wasn't sure whether to put this in knitting or pets, but here's a neckerchief I knitted for my dog Sirius.

Here it is just laid out on my desk:

And on Sirius. It's kinda hard to see. In the future I'd probably make it bigger. The little one looks a little comical on such a large dog.

13  Re: Bargain Hunter Swap Gallery~ in The Swap Gallery by sprinklez on: August 08, 2007 05:58:35 PM

The pretty basket it all came in.

Amazing cupcake pincushion and some buttons.

The inside of the basket and lime green duct tape(!)

The best hat ever. I love it. I wore it for like an hour before I realized that 100 degree weather isn't the best time for knit hats. Sigh. Only four months until winter.

14  Pointy Kitty in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by sprinklez on: July 14, 2007 12:16:39 PM
I used the pattern "pointy kitty" that can be found in the big list of tutorials on the discussions board.

sorry for the bad pic quality. I couldn't find my good camera so I had to use my crappy webcam.

15  upholstery-type fabric in What the heck can I do with THIS? by sprinklez on: July 12, 2007 09:02:09 PM
I'm not sure what to do with this fabric besides upholster a couch, which I don't plan on doing anytime soon.

the right side looks like this:

Not true color, it's much bluer. And it's really fuzzy soft.

The wrong side looks like this:

and feels like rubber.

The fabric is fairly stiff so I was thinking maybe a purse(lined of course). But what do you guys think? any other ideas?

18  a bunch of t-shirt recons. Picture heavy in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by sprinklez on: June 20, 2007 01:36:29 PM
Unfortunately I don't have before pics for any of these, but here they are. ^__^

This shirt was too small and waaaaay too short.

So I put panels in the sides.

And a band at the bottom. White tummy didn't want to be shown so it was covered by purple. XD

This was a ginormous Avenue Q shirt. I looove it now though. I'm thinking of adding straps but I'm not sure. I kinda like the tubeyness.

Added collar and buttons of a nice shirt to a tshirt. Ew chin and neck.

This used to be a tiiiiny kid's top. I took the darker purple long sleeves off aaaaand. . .

Put them in the sides as panels. By then it was too big. XD So I put in some lacing and I really like the bunchyness of the sides.

So yeah. I'm happy with those. ^_^

19  Banana oatmeal cookies in Vegetarian / Vegan by sprinklez on: June 13, 2007 02:14:35 PM
I just made these cookies for the first time and they turned out great. They're not the most visually appealing, but they're quite tasty.

The recipe is:

3 very  ripe bananas, mashed
2 cups oats
1/3 vegetable oil
3/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract
some cinnamon. Put in as little or as much as you want.

Then cook for 20 minutes at 335 degrees. Super easy.
