2  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Eww - is that mold? How to seal jelly jars? on: December 12, 2006 09:10:47 AM
Hi guys
so this might not be this hip or edgy but i'm making jelly/marmalade for christmas this year.
my friend got me a vintage book on how to make jelly/jams/preserves/etc. which is really off the hook but it doesn't tell me how to seal the jars..
i've already given one present thats molded (gel air fresheners) and don't really want to do it again this year.
does anyone have any input?

4  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Earth/ Air/ Fire/ Water Costumes on: October 15, 2005 04:32:54 PM
might be corny but...
earth: mud colored paint smeared on your face.. something made of astroturf or indoor/outdoor carpet type stuff?
air: windmills attached to you, so you can run and they spin and u represent air?
fire: a match maybe?
water: fish tank

shots in the dark but i figured this might get the discussion going here

Awesome!  Grin do u think the hot glue will hold up outside? let us know if it does cause id like to do that... seems a little less intimidating than a full-fledged mosaic project for a newbie

Yep, MD is Maryland  Grin  and i think i can handle a dollar for postage to send to NZ.  Def don't pair up by region...maybe by our interests, or even randomly, bc its fun to step outside ur own box and try to create something you'd never have the urge to usually.
I'm so excited  Cheesy
