1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Amigurumi love bird pattern..help?? on: December 13, 2011 08:53:49 AM
So I found this adorable bird pattern and already got started. However I've run into a problem.
My stitches dont add up! Below is the section of the pattern I'm having difficulty with ..

1 sc in each (18st)
1 sc, inc, 1 sc, inc, 1 sc, inc, 1 sc in each of the next 12 st (21 st)
2 sc, inc, 2 sc, inc, 2 sc, inc, 1 sc in each of the next 12 st (24 st)
3 sc, inc, 3 sc, inc, 3 sc, inc, 1 sc in each of the next 12 st (27 st)
4 sc, inc, 4 sc, inc, 4 sc, inc 1 sc in each of the next 12 st (30 st)

I have 18 stitches! But when I start the next part the issue begins.. So I single crocheted in the first stitch and increased in the next and repeated, but I end up with 27 stitches.
I must be having a brain fart  Huh If someone can explain explain how this is suppose to work I'd be much appreciative!!

2  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / Zipper Boots Help?? on: July 10, 2011 05:49:56 PM
Tall boots are just too difficult to slip on and off over pants without bunching up :/ The zipper would make it much more convenient and stylish. I was wondering if anyone has tried to insert a zipper into tall boots? I've seen a few tutorials online but wanted to know any experiences someone else might have had.

4  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Noobie needs help with soaker pattern plz on: June 28, 2011 02:34:50 PM
Ok, my account is having issues so my sis let me use hers. I have never crocheted anything before except a scarf and I have no idea on how to read patterns. My son is allergic to disposable diapers so I'm trying to crochet my own soakers to start cloth nappying him. This is a link to the pattern http://withatangledskein.blogspot.com/2008/02/little-fire-crochet-soaker-pattern.html
I've only gotten to the 2nd row and the way the instructions are written I have no idea where to go. I'm hopeless I know, lol.

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Pattern Help?? on: May 31, 2007 11:14:20 AM
Hi Cheesy
I'm starting a Sailor Moon Cosplay (costume) . But I was hoping to find a pattern similar to her clothes, to make life easier. I have heard to use a skating pattern but  none of our fabric stores carry one. Anyone with a skating pattern or with another idea of how to make it?
Thank u!
