11  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Sheep-Friendly Wool? on: January 04, 2005 01:52:34 PM
Does anyone know a business that sells Merino wool that takes good care and treats the sheep in a friendly manner?
The reason I am asking is because I've heard too much about how the Australian wool industry just abuses and harms their sheep, I don't want to help or support this industry in anyway anymore.

So if anyone knows a sheep-friendly wool company or business, I would LOVE to know. Thank you!

14  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / With Jordy's Tutioral, I made my first bag on: August 09, 2004 02:04:02 AM
I can't believe I made a BAG! you guys probably think it looks like a granny bag, but I LOVE it with the floral patterns and all... if you look at the pic with the interior of the bag you can see that the pocket is WAY too high, lol, big mistake.... on the exterior I cut and ironed on a vintage hankerchief floral design. it took me about 3 hours to make this.
what do you guys think?  Undecided
