1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Large door into table on: September 26, 2004 04:12:15 PM
Our basement is modeled after an Irish pub and we have a door as a counter top at the bar. It's pretty much just 3 peices of wood like this   I__I   to form a hollow almost-cube. The door just sits on top of it horizontally.  The open side of the base has shelves and a space for one of those mini fridges in it.
2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Men's Ties / Neckties on: September 26, 2004 04:07:58 PM
I have a friend who's sewing neckties to a dress for homecoming. I can't wait to see the end product.
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Rat Hammock on: August 31, 2004 05:45:17 PM
Thats my fiances worry too, the chewing/eating factor - but they sell fabric ones in the pet store and hes been more known to try to drag fabric (blankets, towels) left near his cage into it to curl up in.  And rats are actually very smart so I doubt he'll decide that it is lunch. Cheesy

Spoiled? I must spoil my 2 rats rotten then! They usually have a hammock or two. Mine DO chew them a bit on the edges though. Yours looks a lot better made then mine though, so I doubt it'll be a problem. Very cute rattie though.

I don't mean to nag...but even aspen isn't great for rats. Especially one with a respiratory infection. The aspen can actually cause respiratory infections. I'd recommend Carefresh.  And quarentining Jimmy while he's sick is VERY important.

5  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: instant art! how to turn a regular pic into art! on: July 24, 2004 11:00:44 AM
I can't see it, but Piratestooges' is awesome! It also looks good if you have Photoshop and you do the pictures in duotone instead of just colorizing them.
6  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Awesome Face Mask!!! on: July 23, 2004 02:18:32 PM
Hahah, I'm getting flashbacks of oatmeal baths when I had the chicken pox. I have such dry skin, I'll have to try that.
