1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / My latest scrapghan for charity on: April 16, 2017 11:40:19 AM
2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Decoupage on: April 02, 2017 02:37:56 PM
I need some ideas.  My friend and I want to decoupage a cigar box.  We don't know what we will do with it.  I guess it will depend on how it comes out.  Should we paint the box first?  What do you suggest we decoupage it with,  photos, pictures from magazines, colored tissue paper, fancy napkins?    What about wall paper, or pretty wrapping paper?  Would you cut the papers or tear them?  Any ideas as to the medium or theme would be helpful.
3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Fleece Cat on: November 05, 2016 03:02:33 PM
I made this charcoal fleece cat several years ago. It's weighted so it can be used as a door stopper.  She lives with my other hand made cats.

4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Ninnis on: September 10, 2016 04:39:35 PM
I was in the recent Ninni swap.  One of my partner's themes was a patriotic Ninni in a bathing suit with a ruffled skirt.  At first I made an all white body but didn't know how to work it into her theme.  So I made another body with a a blue bottom for the bathing suit and made a red and white stripe skirt.  Not wanting to waste the the original one I turned her into a kitty and donated it for a charity sale.

5  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Flip tabs/pop tabs on: September 06, 2016 11:28:57 AM
I have a lot of these tabs and am considering crocheting a bag with them.  Has anyone ever crocheted anything with these tabs and if so what typr of yarn do yoiu think is best to use for this project?  Somehow I feel that the metal could rub on the acrylic and rip it and para-cord might be costly.
6  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Tiny Spoons on: September 06, 2016 11:13:42 AM
I originally posted this in miscellaneous but I think it belongs here.  I  use Sweet and Low as my sweetener.  I buy it in the bulk box instaed of individual packets.  Every time I open up a new box there is a tiny spoon (3")  that holds the same amount as the packet. I think it might hold approximately 1/15th tsp.. I end up with a lot of these tiny spoons.  What can I craft with them?

9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / WALL-HANGINGS on: June 01, 2016 05:09:30 PM
I made these felt wall hangings to put away for gifts.  The snowman is made of all felt .  The other one is a felt background with fabric strawberries and felt leaves.

10  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Plastic canvas cross wall-hanging on: February 13, 2016 08:08:40 PM
A friend had a wall hanging that she borrowed from someone and asked that I make one for her.  I made a couple of adjustments and this is the end result:   Smiley
