Yay, I received from iSearchToBeLost today!

it's absolutely perfect! I'm a total rainbow fiend, and it fits just right.

Since she hasn't had a chance to post any pictures but has received over a week ago, here's what I sent my partner:

it's the "hiphopopotamus" Smiley

Apologies for the awful cellphone pictures! I think my partner will probably be able to take better pictures of her cozy if she wants to.

They're Lorna's Laces worsted and they're sooooo soft. I loved this pattern! First mitties ever. I actually did the large-gauge version, used ww but knitted on size 5 dpns and they fit my abnormally little hands perfectly.

5  Re: 2007 Completed Costumes Scrapbook! (completed project pictures & links go here!) in Halloween Costumes by rhoticity on: October 31, 2007 10:27:25 PM

I'm the wall keyboard from Journey's Separate Ways music video! My house dressed up as 80s music videos this year. My best friend was the keyboardist, but I don't have a picture of us together, so here's a YouTube screenshot for the under-pop-culture-informed.

I just wore my scrubs from work underneath, they are the same color as the wall in the video! My keyboard is tape, cardboard and construction paper and a lot of love.

Got a little bored of the old, sort-of-fadey pink, so redid it this weekend in Virgin Rose and Atomic Pink. It's basically the same sort of underneath layer idea as before, but a lot more of it. Looks freaking kickass, better than in the pictures, but as we all know it's hard to get a good picture of the head.

My hands are soooo stained after washing it for the first time this afternoon XD

Luckily, I took a picture before I sent it... I'm guessing your scan will be better, but this will work for now.

Yaaaaay, my first-ever cabling project! I'm very proud of how it came out. It's well over 5 feet long, and I'm only 4'8", so it will keep me very warm in the upcoming Chicago winter.

Sorry about the horrendous picture--dorm lights are not meant for pretty photography. A better idea of the colour/pattern:

Pattern at: http://www.helloyarn.com/besottedcarf.htm ; done in Cascade 220 Lake Chelan Heather (just under 2 skeins) and size 8 Takumi bamboos.

RedMenace, you're the best!

Nothing like BANANA TAPE to greet you after a less-than-awesome day Smiley

A Jon Stewart book (my love! he came here to speak last year Cheesy), gorgeous and super-fuzzy yarn, crocheted flower motifs (totally going on a headband--everything I wear is blue or green!), an amazing rainbow hemp bracelet, crane, and OWL CARD! ORLY?

Food, glorious food! Trader Joe's is amazing, but sadly I have to go all the way downtown to get to the closest one, so you've only served to whet my appetite once more (ha ha ha! Cheesy)

Last, but totally my favourite...

SCRABBLE MAGNETS! She must have done some good stalking... my boyfriend and I are total Scrabble fiends and play every chance we get. My fridge was looking kind of bare, so it thanks you kindly, too!

Thanks a billion, RedMenace!
