1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: earrings for the young at heart (4 pics) on: February 15, 2007 03:44:58 PM

America's true favorite passtime--Bowling!  I'm working on a charm bracelet to go with this one, but it's not done

Where did u find the little bowling pins they are kool!!!

I have those charms too, my mom picked up this little miniature bowling game at the dollar store, it came with those pins and 2 bowling balls.

I tried to make earrings awhile back but couldn't get a whole for the jump rings to fit in. I just use the heated up needle method, so to the OP, how did you get it to work?

I checked out that site, and the stock they have is excellent - I was all ready to check out when I decided to look at the shipping costs - it was almost 20 dollars to ship something that only cost me a little over 15 in the first place. Not worth it, in my opinion. It's crappy up here in NL, Canada - shipping rates are always semi-atrocious, but this was a little steep even for us. Sad Oh well.

Hey guys. I'm looking for a website selling bulk ball and chain material as well as the closures. I used to know of a site where you could enter how many feet you wanted, as well as order the clasps and whatnot - and there was also multiple other products, lots of charms and things available. If anyone knows the site I'm talking about, or another one that you know of (or use), please post.

I like this alot, the mishapen look makes me happy Smiley
although I think it might have looked a little more "finished" if you had of sewn the sides of the scarves together to make actual connected curtains.

Even though it broke.. hehe
