22  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Molly the Mousebraian on: August 08, 2007 06:49:09 PM
I just finished molly the Mousebrarian. She has a little book in her book bag. Her favorite books are encyclopedias and baby sitters club books (I know terrible)

She is hoping to find a new home this weekend, I will be at a fair and she is going to find a little girl to take her home:)

23  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Vintage Patterns..has anyone done some? on: July 31, 2007 04:46:02 PM
Sooo, I found a cool book at the library published in 1976 and there are a few dress patterns that i want to try but i don't know if its worth it.

I was wondering if anyone else has done vintage patterns for large pieces of clothing and what kind of success they had.

This is Crochet of course:)

Couple of things i just finished.  The scarf was for a friend, he choose the colour and the style - i was just the crochet lackey:)

The bunny was from https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=162955.0

I made it for my nephew who is nearly two years old.

This is my Husband not my Nephew Wink

26  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / I Need blanket help! img heavy on: June 24, 2007 03:01:08 AM
Ok so i have been working on this blanket for nearly a year, I started is after i got married and its in my wedding colors- Its our one year anniversary coming up and i really want to finish it!

So my question is - How should I attach all the pieces together what with them being different colors. If I sew them together won't whatever color i use show up on the other blocks in a not so pretty way? And if i crochet them together there is that awkward part where the crochet crosses over and gets all bendy to the side.

I have a lot of the pink wool left, so what ever I do it would be best to use that as I'm also going to go round the edge in pink a few times and possibly but a silky edge on it.

anyway i would appreciate everyones opinions.

Sorry for the not so great photos, it's late here!

27  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Finally finished my totoro on: June 22, 2007 10:46:15 PM
This took over a week of plodding along. I'm not 100% happy with him but my husband says he's fine so i dunno. Anyway he seems pretty happy here so he can stay for a while Smiley

This pattern is from  http://heavens-hellcat.livejournal.com/420.html

Thanks for looking

ps. he is totally not as lopsided as he looks there, at least i hope not!
28  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Bag recycler on: June 22, 2007 10:38:29 PM
My first challenge entry!

A Plastic bag recycler! These are great because the oldest bag in is the first bag out so you don't end up with disintegrated plastic bags which is so messy!

And in use!

29  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Cupcake brooches on: June 20, 2007 05:13:23 PM

These are not completely crochet, but the most important part is! and the embroidery is done with crochet cotton. thanks for looking!
