21  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Bear taggie on: March 24, 2011 03:59:40 PM
This bear taggie is made out of woolen blankets and has a rattle inside. It's inspired from these two taggies that are just adorable. http://somthinsomthin.tumblr.com/post/4017439475/tag-stuffies

I'm not as happy with it as I would like but I was happy enough to give it away as a gift:) Thanks for looking.

22  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Trousers for a 1 year old on: March 24, 2011 03:48:45 PM
I made these for a little friend of my babies for his first birthday. I really like the pattern - it's from the sewing book 'Make it Perfect'. The pattern had side pockets on that I left off as how many pockets do a one year old need.

23  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Vintage sheet pajama shorts on: March 08, 2011 11:13:45 PM
I made these for my Sister in Law for Christmas. They are made out of a vintage sheet and I bought a store T shirt to make up a pajama set. A few more details on my blog.

24  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Sock monkeys! a biggy and a littley on: March 08, 2011 11:10:47 PM
I made these for Christmas, one was for my Niece who went absolutely nuts when she opened it. The little blue one is made out of baby socks and I made it for my little boy. Next time I make something like that for a baby I will put a rattle in it as well to make it a bit more interesting to a baby!

25  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Sewing Kit Jar on: January 10, 2011 07:07:13 PM
Hi thanks so much:)

I just did a quick search and this tute looks ok - http://debrascreativeramblings.blogspot.com/2009/09/making-sewing-kit.html

Where they have the circle that you have to push up into the lid as the last step - On mine I haven't made this go all the way to the edge of the lid as if the lid isn't very deep you can't really screw it back onto the jar as too much space inside the lid has been used so if you make one I would just watch out for that. I made the circle of cardboard slightly smaller so as to leave more room for the lid, I also didn't put fabric on that piece of cardboard just used something that wasn't too bad to look at. I hope this all makes sense:)

I made this for my Mother in Law for Christmas as she has admired mine a few times. I was really happy with how it turned out - More photos on my blog.

29  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / NEW ZEALAND / Re: NZ Xmas swap?? on: November 18, 2010 05:39:14 PM
Sure I would be keen if someone else organizes and it's just a small thing - don't want to put too much strain on what I'm already trying to get done for Christmas:)

Why don't you start a thread on the swap discussions thread.
