22  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Fun Little Sunhats I made today...with a cooperative model! (img heavy) on: March 27, 2009 11:59:44 AM
So with this rainy, rainy few days we are having in Atlanta, I figured I would make some sunhats to brighten my day.  I am going to make some rainhats too...what doyou think of these?  My Charlee was SOOO excited to model, and has claimed all of them.  I guess if I want to sell some, I will need to remake them Smiley

This is so adorable!  Where did you get the shoes pattern?  My daughter has the tiniest dainty feet and I can't find any shoes to stay on. (seriously, she's almost a year old and barely a size 2 shoe)... I've been wanting to make her some but have not found a pattern I like.

The ruffles are so cute. I've been wanting to do some like that but I don't have a serger, so I've not tried.  Great job.

No serger here.  I just used my regular machine.  The shoes are a pattern that I created. I know there are TONS of different kind of soft-sole shoes that you can get patterns for FREE online.  Just google Free Bootie Pattern or Free Soft Sole Shoe Pattern.  I know that Stardust makes one, and you can find some to purchase (not from me Wink ) on Etsy.

How awesome!  Excellent recon....truly!  It wasn't a very cute scrub top, but makes quite an attractive dress!

Too freakin' adorable!  My brother and his wife are having a little one soon, and I may have to use your idea as inspiration for the the entire wardrobe I plan on building the baby.  Now I just need to know if it's a boy or girl!

Please do!  It is so cool to match your shoes with your outfit!  Let's teach 'em early that it is important...haha!  You could totally do boys too.  I've seen patterns for the little kimono shoes and you could do an initial or a shape on the onesie.  That would be adorable!  There aren't any boys around me, so my life has been filled with frills and pink.  I might try something for boys just to try it Smiley

Thanks for your comments.
