21  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Easter / Re: Beaded Easter Egg on: March 02, 2010 03:45:16 PM
I'm glad you like it. I can't take the credit though. My daughter came up with it last year  Smiley
22  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Easter / Beaded Easter Egg on: March 02, 2010 06:39:49 AM
To make this Beaded Easter Egg you basically glue beads to a Styrofoam egg. If you don't like working with hot glue you could also use pins to attach the beads to the Styrofoam. Make a variety of different patterns on the eggs by switching up the beads.

Make several eggs and place them in a basket or attach an eye-hook to the top and hang the eggs from a plant or anywhere around the house.
23  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Sock Snowmen on: December 21, 2009 11:59:36 AM
This is a great project for kids or you can make them as stocking toppers!
Check out the complete tutorial: http://craftelf.com/Winter_Sock_Snowman.htm

It would also look cute if you made a few and put them together in a basket - maybe by the fireplace.
24  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Fabric Christmas wreath on: December 20, 2009 05:02:34 PM
This is a great project for kids. It is basically made from a paper plate and scrap fabric. You can change up the fabric and make it for other holidays too.

I think this would be a great gift from a child for Christmas.
25  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Gift ornaments from felt and plastic canvas on: December 13, 2009 09:41:52 AM
I made these "Gift" ornaments out of felt and made a support for the inside out of plastic canvas so it would keep it's nice square shape.

If you like it you can find a complete tutorial here: http://craftelf.com/Craft_elf_Christmas_felt_Gift_ornament.htm

Happy crafting!

27  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Felt Penguin Ornaments on: December 09, 2009 08:39:56 AM
Here is a penguin ornament made from felt. My daughter drew a penguin and I transformed it into a felt ornament.

28  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Artificial Gingerbread house - it lasts forever on: December 07, 2009 04:51:13 AM
Here is a spin on the traditional Gingerbread House. This one is made from foam core board. The picture doesn't do it justice as the house is covered in glitter which doesn't photograph well:

29  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Antlers on: December 06, 2009 05:14:02 AM
Thank you so much for bringing that to my attention. I have corrected the problem. If you scroll to the bottom of the page it links to and click the printable instructions it will also give you the pattern.

Make antlers to wear by hot gluing antlers cut from craft foam to a plastic headband:
