1  CANADA / Quebec / silicone molds in Montreal? on: February 14, 2008 07:53:42 PM
Hello everyone! I want to make resin jewelry using silicone molds. Not the ones you make yourself but some with different shapes, I guess it could be the kind you would use to make ice cubes. I went to Omer deSerres and I went to places that sell kitchen stuff, but they just don't seem to exist anywhere. Does anybody know where I can find them? Thanks and have an awesome valentine's day!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / new top!!! on: November 13, 2007 09:18:15 AM
Good afternoon!
I made this using the fabric I had left from pants I made for my friend. This is the first top I made from scratch and without a pattern. I'm really satisfied with the result. Tell me what you think!

Thank you for looking! Have a nice day!

Good Evening everyone!
Last friday, I bought a bunch of stuff at Salvation Army. I bought a huge polo and transformed it to make this:

I feel like it's missing something though, any ideas?
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Peru inspired jewelry on: September 30, 2007 03:05:06 PM
Good Morning!
When I was in Peru, a guy showed me how to make this jewelry with metal wire. So I bought all the material (the wire, pliers and little stones) to make it.

That's the material:

My first attempts at making stuff out of this were absolutely unsuccessful but after a little practice I made my first earrings:

This summer I also made matching earrings and ankle bracelet but I haven't taken pictures of these yet, but they're coming soon.

Passed friday, I made this bracelet that I'm really proud of (it took me about 5 hours to make all the small parts and assemble them:

and here's a close-up of the details:

Please, tell me what you think!

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / my first thai fisherman's pants! on: September 30, 2007 02:46:43 PM
Hello everyone!
My friend asked me to make him these fisherman's pants so I bought some fabric and improvised a pattern from the ones I already had. I started yesterday and finished this morning. I don't know if you guys ever tried those pants but they're suuuper comfy. I don't really like the color, but it's my friend's choice. The fabric ended up to be more shiny than I thought...  I hope he's gonna wear them. I still can't post pictures  Angry Anyways, here is the link:

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Mini tube dress (tutorial from loukr) on: May 09, 2007 06:39:50 AM
Hello everyone! So this is not at all my idea. I got so inspired by loukr's dress that I decided to make one. I followed her tutorial (https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=161465.0). It was incredibly well explained and easy to follow, so all the credit goes to her, I basically just copied. So that's it

7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Leopard bracelet on: May 09, 2007 05:10:12 AM
Ok, so my friend had some extra fabric from her leopard Halloween costume so she gave it to me. First I made this Tarzan thingy for my boyfriend which was pretty hilarious. I had very little left but didn't want to throw it away so I made a bracelet out of it. It took about 10 minutes to make. I didn't even use a sewing machine, I did it by hand. I put this button and I didn't make a proper button hole, I just cut through the fabric. Haha, I'm so lazy. Here it is: ( I'm not allowed to post pictures yet )

8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Cheap green bag on: May 06, 2007 06:51:49 PM
Hello everybody!
This is my first post! Yeah! I just signed in but I've been reading posts for quite sometime. You guys are so talented, I'm jealous. Anyways, I made this a few summers ago when I had nothing to do. I bought this bag at a dollar store and I also bought sequins. I also used buttons I already had. It cost 2$ to make. It's nothing complicated, but here it is:

I didn't sew the sequins really well, but hey it's my first project.
Little golden bow button thingy:

So that's it. It was super easy and super cheap to make. Thanks for reading. Tell me what you guys think! Wink
