21  Amigurumi Katamari Prince in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Licer on: February 12, 2008 11:03:03 PM
A friend of mine is totally into Katamari. (A game for the playstation) Even though she lent it to me I wasn't that into it but for some reason kept it around the house for almost a year! I felt really bad and wanted to do something nice for her for when I returned it so I made her the Katamari Prince. I got the pattern from here http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=9305292

It was pretty simple to make and she loved it! I think I have to make another one though because my one year old loved to carry it around the house in it's various states of assembly.

It turned out bigger than I thought it would (about 15") I guess I could adapt it.

22  Baby leg/arm warmers in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by Licer on: January 25, 2008 03:40:14 PM
It's hard to find baby clothes that aren't too "babyish" so i've started to make some of my own for my wee one. I love Babylegs but don't want to pay the price for them so I found this great tute http://www.flickr.com/photos/babyhopes/237396880/in/set-72157594274454468/

They were super easy and I love the patterns on her. They can also be worn on the arms under short sleeve shirts for warmth as well.

ps she isn't supposed to look like a jester, she's just really into hats right now and wants to wear on all the time.

23  Fairy wings for my nieces in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Licer on: December 15, 2007 08:03:57 PM
I was making a super hero cape for my nephew for Christmas and trying to think of what to do for my nieces when it came to me. Fairy wings! I have 7 nieces who are 7 and under and who are very girly. I had a blast making these. The pictures are driving me crazy though because as i'm sure alot of you know, sparkle looks best in person. Also i'm having trouble uploading more than three pictures. So here are three for now!

24  Yet another advent calendar. Lots of pics in Winter Holidays by Licer on: November 30, 2007 09:31:15 AM
Ok, so I jumped on the advent calendar bandwagon. I grew up having an all felt advent calendar so now that i'm on my own I decided to make one. I couldn't remember all the pieces so I made some up. Each ornament was supposed to be in a pocket but I have to move on to other Christmas crafts and tommorrow is Dec.1! So maybe next year.

The basic idea is to flip an ornament over every day and then read the applicable verse to go with it. I'm having a bit of trouble with pictures today so we'll see how this turns out...

My brother and sister in law have the supplies to make Ukranian easter eggs so this easter I thought I would try my hand at it. I was gonna do a traditional pattern but decided that this went with my personality better. Hope you like it!

28  3D Sphere in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by Licer on: May 03, 2007 11:56:00 AM
I made this paper sphere for our front window. It is made of about 100 pieces of folded paper all glued together. Then I spray painted it black and added some gold glitter. My friends don't believe that I made it but my husband was there when I did!

It's about the size of a basketball. Maybe a little smaller.

29  Glass Pyramid in Glass Crafts: Completed Projects by Licer on: May 03, 2007 11:50:39 AM
My husband and I went on a holiday and I wanted a way to remember our trip. I had seen things like this in stores and they were charging $80 or more. I have just started doing stained glass and thought it would be a great project. I think it turned out really well. I also made one for my sister that has different decorative soldering and a flat base. If I can get a picture of it i'll post it later.

30  Adult wrap skirt into baby dress in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by Licer on: May 02, 2007 10:30:35 AM
So i've been lurking on craftster for a long time being amazed at the great stuff people come up with and being inspired to make something of my own. I went through my clothes and found a wrap skirt that I never wear and decided to cut it up and make it into a cute summer dress for my baby girl. I didn't use a pattern so it's not perfect but I have a bunch of other skirts that I think i'll try other ideas with now that i've started! Tell me what you think. Although personally I think she looks cute in anything!  Grin
