2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / French memo boards on: July 15, 2004 06:51:46 PM
i had this old ugly looking bullitin board in my room.  I wanted a french memo board but couldn't find any.  i finally got smart and brought fabric to make some pillows AND use on the board so my room would match.

To make the board i cut the fabric to fit and secured it with tacks.  to make the crosses i used ribbon and secured it with silver tacks where the ribbon crossed.  I glued matching colored rhinestones to the silver part of the tack.  It's a great way to get an inexpensive board that will match your room and your budget.
sorry i dont have pics but it should be fairly easy to imagine.

3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / instant art! how to turn a regular pic into art! on: July 14, 2004 04:48:59 PM
ok well i love taking pictures.  i took this picture of a statue of mickey mouse and i loved the picture so much.  I took the picture, and using my photo editing software tinted the photo into 4 different colors.  i framed it in a simple black frame.  i literally did it in 15 minutes.... so simple and easy.   im going for the "u can buy this in a store" look.

Here is a link that takes u DIRECTLY to the picture
