1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Pin Cushion Ring on: June 20, 2010 08:45:24 PM
This is just a little ring I made today. didn't take me very long, it was fun. I plan on making more and perfecting it.

These are the few pics I took so you can see how big it is on my hand.
It's all just some scraps of fabric, thread, needle, Stuffing, a button, bendy wire, and a glue gun. And oh yeah a couple pins to put in it!
2  COOKING / Dessert / Nursing cake! on: March 19, 2010 02:48:39 PM
Grin Just a little cake I made for a girl that my mom works with. It was her last night, cause she is now going for her LPN. just frosted it, and made little band aids, and stethoscopes with little needles and the blood pressure thingy. No I don't know the names off hand. They aren't the greatest of pics either but just to give you an idea.

She loved it, and didn't let anyone cut it for 10 minutes while she looked at all over. Made me feel good.
3  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Medieval clothing...large with pics on: February 27, 2010 08:55:22 PM
Ok these are just acouple of things I've made for dressing up at my local GLMF.  I've got loads more but not the pictures. Here are just some styles of bodices and chemises I've done.  Feel free to comment good or even the not so good.

This a chemise and overskirt sewn together.

And with a bodice, yes I know it's not laced at the moment, but just to give the idea. Works great really. Nothing fancy. I do have more just not good pictures. Please don't look at the sad and angry frown on my face. It was late and my bones weren't feeling very well. In fact I'll update this or post again when I have better ones, with most of my clothes. Until then.....

4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Watercolor Labyrinth...Large, and many pics. Be warned! on: February 15, 2010 09:22:10 AM
I made these water colors for a Labyrinth swap. Here are all the pics, she's already posted so this won't spoil anything. And there are two more pics that she didn't post for whatever reasons.

Pupper... SPOILER if you haven't gotten your package yet!!!!!!!!  SPOILER FOR PUPPER!!!!!!!    BEWARE  BEWARE................PUPPER BEWARE...........

There we go. Finally!!!!  Really really really big in the image department.

Same pic from above only not outlined. I used a regular ink pen to outline everything.

There's all the Firey goodness. I know the last one looks like some fame shot like Elvis would have taken but what can I saw. By the way for those who may not believe me, this is the first time I've done anything like this in years.....I'm talking at least five!
Both pics are 8 by 10 sized.

5 by 7 again.

Still more.......yes it's rather large.

Sir Didymus the brave little knight.  5 by 7 size.

And the little worm. I put him a tea-cup hot tub so to speak. Just thought it was a cute play on words. "Come inside and have a nice cup of tea!"
5 by 7 sized.

Ludo here is an 8 by 10.

Yes, the last pic is really orange but that's the best Lariarocket could get. She took all these pics. Her camera is way better then mine.

These Ludo water color I did for her swap partern.
He's a bit smaller then 5 by 7 I think or just that.

And what's the Labyrinth without goblins?
These are 5 by 7 sized.

And who could forget his highness The Goblin King... And Sarah.
These are 5 by 7 sized.

And there we are.

5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Far Far, Away... Swap! on: January 14, 2010 09:12:15 AM
Anyone interested? I put the movie on for the kids the other day and thought about cute things to make. I'm not the organizing type, so if anyone would like to set everything up. I mean granted there enough people out there who want to do this, and agree on when.....
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Sun(or light)Catchers! on: December 28, 2009 08:06:40 PM
Here's some of the things I've been making. Soon to be selling them on-line, but as you can see pictures are not the greatest. Any suggestions?

So here we have a pic of my bed.....the head of it. Yes it's a canopy and I love it. I've run out of room to put mostly anything in my room so luckily the suncatchers hang from the top bar of the canopy. They are against the wall but they are all fine there. Lighting stinks I know, but I couldn't tinker with the much without messing up the colors.

This is one of the 5 pink and gold hangy things I've made..... I have alot of pink and gold, what can I say I'm a gold girl. The little heart there isn't crystal just a glass bead, but I thought it was pretty.

This one is just blue and silver. The star on the end is glass, I believe...? But still very pretty and shiny!

This one took me a long time to complete. Well the making part wasn't that hard for me, it was the waiting for the craft store to get a new shipment in of the red snake. I have only 4 more to do whatever with. I do have plans for them but if something else nags at my head I'll use them for that!

This tiny one reminds me of the fairies from Tinker Bell. This little pink one has a small spray of sea beads coming from the top, all colored white, clearish, and pink. The middle whitish circle bead is glass. I think it's perfect for a new baby girl. Like a coming home persent.

This little guy is made from sea beads, and a glass heart that my mother saw at the craft store. It was made as I thought about it. Just bend wire this way, and oh looks good like this. Maybe I could do this...Yes. The very first one I made too.... now a small blip in the sea of them hanging above me on my bed.

This one is the second one I've made with a spray of sea beads on it. My aunt saw the first one I ever made and she stole it from me.... So this one is pink and purple....just the same pink heart from the other one. I found I have about 10 of the hearts...?!? At the bottem of this one there are three swirls of purple wire. All hand twisted by me. It hurts the fingers but it looks very nice.

Now this guy, red and silver with white highlights, is just another way to do a spray with beads. The large white circle is the same one in the middle of the tiny baby pink one. This one is the last one I've made in a while,  sad to say.

So that's a basic run down of my hangy things... a.k.a. SunCatchers. I've done alot of crafting with the beads, wires, chains, and crystals. Granted most of the larger beads are not crystals, the tinier ones are real crystals mixed in with some run of the mill glass beads. I've gotten into the color wires, and racking my brain thinking of new and different things to do with it all. So thanks for taking a peek at all this. And pay no attention to the dates on the pics here, they were taken just hours ago. My camera isn't set to the right time.
7  COOKING / Dessert / Wedding Cake on: December 05, 2008 05:07:06 PM
I was volunteered to make my step brothers wedding cake. So there's the mock cake, just to work out any problems I might encounter. It was my first wedding cake, and I did it all by myself! I'm so proud. I'll post pictures of the real one later when I get them back. Without further ado

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Suncatcher....... on: December 03, 2008 07:56:24 AM
Made from wires, chains, bead, and real crystals...sorry for the bad pics, but as soon as I can get better ones they will be up.

9  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Across The Universe Swap on: November 23, 2008 05:55:29 PM
Anyone up for an "Across The Universe" swap? I can't get to a swap till maybe after Xmas, but I'm in love with the movie. I can't host a swap........trust me you don't me in charge of anything...but if someone out here would be interested.............
10  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Renaissance Bodice on: April 24, 2007 07:04:09 PM
I've made this bodice from the McCall's M4107 pattern. It's not my first ever project that I've done but, maybe the third "good" one. The back is nothing really didn't have a chance to upload the picture yet, maybe later I'll have it up. The little white "shirt" I made as well. Picture of that coming up in a day or so.
