31  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Painted Hollywood Undead Masks on Jeans for DD on: December 11, 2011 04:33:18 PM
I gots to tell you this was way more fun then I thought it was going to be! and I love how it turned out! I painted these with fabric paint and heat set them so they'll last. She's hoping she can get them to sign them after the concert.
32  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Johnny 3 Tears Hip Bag for the Hollywood Undead Concert on: December 11, 2011 04:25:03 PM
This is a little larger then I would normally make a hip bag, but I have a lot i have to carry. Tickets, camera, keys, wallet, inhaler,.... and since I am a firm believer that "She who brings their purse to a concert is in danger of getting it jacked" I made this that clips safely to my jeans.
I painted J3T's mask on with fabric paint then I purposely did a messy double zig zag stitch to double reinforce it(Yes I'm Paranoid) and I used white thread to give it a more....deconstructed? Industrial? look with the exposed zipper.

33  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Twilight Flower Broach on: November 17, 2011 10:36:32 AM
Before everybody gasps and points fingers at me for destroying a perfectly good book, I didn't. This book was pretty much destroyed when I got it(Why I got it). I picked it up from the library .50 for crafting
I used my cricut to cut the flowers out added the button and a pin on the back!
34  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Haunted house Halloween Centerpiece on: November 07, 2011 03:22:55 PM
For my hubby's annual Halloween party I was asked to make a centerpiece for our table. I came up with this!
The house is made completely from polymer clay....even the widows! Those are made from liquid polymer clay.
The creature silhouettes on the inside are cut outs that I glued in after the house was put together.
The grounds are made from Styrofoam and Spackle...then painted grey.
The house was lit up by the battery operated tealights at the party, but they died so I had to put a light in there for the pics. The video however has the tealights flickering in there.

A video of the lights in action
35  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / A Christmas Ornament for friends fallen father on: November 07, 2011 03:06:11 PM
A good friend of mine asked me to make her a ornament for her tree in honor of her father who passed away last year. She had a few requests... The Police shield with his badge number, an eagle, and the Yankees symbol... I added the red and white beads because her father was very proud of his Polish heritage, 1 bead for each of his kids and the glitter heart at the bottom for all the grandchildren.
36  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Had a jewelry making day yesterday on: November 07, 2011 02:56:27 PM
I was playing around with my jewelry making UFO piles.....
First a polymer clay glitter mustache. DD wanted a plain black one but I had to add glitter... I told her if a girl's going to wear a mustache it should sparkle!

Second a collage necklace made from small bits of chains I saved(Including a broken rosary) and a rhinestone clip on earring.

And some eraser rings...why? Because I like them!

For size

37  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / When good luggage goes bad AKA luggage makeover on: November 07, 2011 11:26:37 AM
The night before a big trip my suitcase decided I could go without it....but I couldn't! It broke, not just a simple tear or rip. The flap came completely off...it could've been the amount of clothes I shoved in there but I'm not taking the blame! Desperate and a little angry I searched the basement and found this old beat up beauty(Not really). She was in awful shape but I prettied her up with some acrylic paint and a nice polyacryclic seal and she worked out great!

The awful beginnings....
38  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Paper Butterfly Mobile on: October 01, 2011 08:57:47 PM
I can't for the life of me remember which Mod did a tutorial for paper ornaments... but I used it to make this! Just beefed up bigger!
I also used Martha's large butterfly punch and glued to different colored paper together with clear thread sandwiched in the middle so they would fly..
39  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Multimedia Montana Sunset Wall Clock on: October 01, 2011 08:53:55 PM
One of my husbands work friends recently got married. He's in the military and will be leaving soon and I wanted to be able to give them something to remind them of Montana to take with them.
I used a wood base, polymer clay for the tree(painted brown), ink pencils for the background, and clock bits.
Their initials carved into the tree:
40  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / 3 Ugly Dated Vintage Necklaces into 1 New Necklace on: October 01, 2011 08:48:48 PM
I apologize.... I forgot to take before shots but take my word theses necklaces were pretty bad. The bee came from a rope necklace, the pearls... how many vintage pearl necklaces are in this world( a lot), the chains came from the same necklace.
