Here's an earring I made. There is another one to go with it, but I thought I'd get a close up shot.

Thanks for looking!

2  Duct tape creations in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by elliemom on: February 11, 2009 08:50:14 AM
I've been having lots of fun with duct tape, so here are two of my creations:

The ubiquitous duct tape wallet:

And a business card holder made with biker-Elvis-pig fabric covered with clear duct tape.

Thanks for looking!

3  Re: The All Things Oz Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by elliemom on: October 20, 2008 09:47:19 AM
OK, here are the pics. If I end up with a weird looking post, it's only because I am still new at posting pics.

Here are the ruby red slippers Mirchita crocheted for my daughter--on my daughter's feet. She loves them!

And here are the three wonderful jewelry items--ruby slipper earrings, a tin man cell phone charm, and a charm bracelet with emerald gems, a Toto dog, a slipper and other cute charms:

The next four pics are the adorable purse Mirchita made. It's reversable and it has a black side for the wicked witch and her catchphrase and a blue checkered side for Dorothy and her catchphrase. I LOVE it. I can choose which side I want to show, depending on if I'm in an evil mood or a nice mood. Heh!

I love all of it--you are so talented, Mirchita! Thank you!!

4  My Poppet! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by elliemom on: July 23, 2008 04:42:05 PM
Her name is Mimi. The hardest part was her hair--can someone point me toward some more in-depth tutes on how to do the hair? I still love her and I'm going to make more. I started her last week while watching the premiere of Project Runway, so maybe it's fitting to start another one tonight during the new show.

5  Purse with a super-long handle in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by elliemom on: November 20, 2007 12:40:23 PM
Here's a purse I did with really long handles and my first zipper. I had a lot of trouble with the zipper and it still got a bit messed up, but I'm anxious to try it again.
