Here is my shiny loot from Bioformcallie Cheesy

A most excellent felted lunch bag complete with Cpt Tightpants embroidery

A Cpt. Mal hat (heat pressed on the side). It actually FITS ME! Most hats don't but this one is perfect for my big head Cheesy

A Captain Hammer t-shirt, great garb for fighting crime or in case of crazy happenstance.

And a key tag for my very own gorram ship that pieces randomly fall off of!

A fantastic package. Thank you Callie!

I never even noticed we were surrounded by ducks. For me that is completely normal!!!!

Here are some of my evil duckie minions...

Don't let the cuteness fool you. They really are quite evil. Especially this one!!

Sorry I was slow with the photos. I am redecorating and kept hiding the camera accidentally Tongue

An awesome earring assortment. Not sure when I will wear the zombie earrings, but you know darn well I will find a reason. Maybe a Chamber of Commerce meeting...

I share Anja's fear of bunnies. I have a scar on my belly from one! Mean buck. Childhood trauma. Stupid evil rabbits! LOL

Anyone else giggling about the possible photo that could go in this frame??  Wink

Everyone needs a Mr. Pointy!!

And this is why you never let a vampire borrow your mug! (This is going to the office Cheesy )

And some great Xander quotes on a T and some magnets which are already on the fridge.

Funny how we both included a Xander quote. He is very quotable!

This was a fun swap!

5  Gas Mask Bag Purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by BYA on: August 09, 2010 01:46:17 PM
I got a gas mask bag at a garage sale for 50.

It had random straps and buckles everywhere. I am sure they made perfect sense to those requiring it for chemical attacks, but since I only had the bag and am not currently being bombed with tear gas, I cut off the excess stuff. The excess actually went to make another bag here...

I repositioned the remaining straps, and added a pocket. The pocket was taken out of the bottom of another gas mask I am turning in to a book bag. I thought a nice paisley would make a good pocket liner.

I added some old kitty buttons and an air force pin that was laying around.

There is also a chinese coin on a chain I attached to one of the D-rings (not shown)

Any place I cut off a strap, I used a lighter to melt down the frays and make it smooth and unnoticeable.

Now I have a bag my purse-hating friend Abi might even use if I gave it to her Cheesy

6  Military Surplus Purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by BYA on: August 09, 2010 09:10:25 AM
This was the original inspiration...a purse made out of an army shirt. An army wife had one made out of her husband's old shirt while he was deployed. I didn't have a shirt since my son is in Iraq and still wearing them so I had to improvise.

I was given some extra body armor pouches by my son. I had no idea what to do with them and neither did he. Fortunately inspiration struck. I present to you the body armor pouch purse Cheesy

My hubby was 4th ID. That is his old pin. The air force pin was found in a car we bought used from someone in the air force. Since I have friends in the air force, I put that on to remind me of them and their service. Now I need a navy pin since my dad was in the navy and a friend's son who I have known since he was a baby is currently in the navy.

Plenty of room inside. I will now have room for my camera!

All those straps make good pen holders.

It is soft-sided now, but you could easily put some corrugated plastic in the pouch sections (hidden in the middle) to give it more structure. The strap, the rings and the snaps were taken from an old army gas mask bag I got at a garage sale for 50.

I will post pictures of the gas mask bag I made after robbing it for parts later.

I sent this to Laurel...

An owl of her very own!

And this...

I was all proud of myself for thinking of making a mandrake thinking it would be an original, then I saw someone else on the swap made one. (Great minds thinking alike again? LOL)

And some of these...

Not pictured (Laurel will post these)...
A wand (very glittery...not authentic...but very fun!)
A gold and maroon wand cozy
A gold and maroon book/grocery bag

A magnetic storage box with shiny photo of the crew

Inside the box...crew magnets

A small heard of dinosaurs

Very pretty beaded drape

A cool solar powered LED light jar

a set of 2 glasses with a frosted silhouette of Serenity (hard to see on the photo, but it looks really neat!)

Thanks Tabba  Grin
