Details of swap:
This is a SECRET Santa swap!
Your partner will not know who you are until they open your package! In turn, you will not know who will be sending to you.
You will receive your partner's info, and you will stalk them!  You must NOT contact your partner and let them know who you are! (go through your group leader if you have a question that must be answered!).

Please understand if you agree to ship outside your country, you will have a few less days of crafting time. This is to help ensure the packages arrive on or before Open Party Weekend. Please no early senders! We don't want someone to have their package arrive weeks before Party Day. The wait to open would be pure torture! The shipping dates will be listed above. We know during the holidays lots of people travel. If you can't ship within these dates please contact your group leader to work something  out.

This is a small swap to ease time and money constraints around the holidays. You will craft 4 points. 2 mediums. 2 mediums and 2 small. 1 large and 1 small. Please do not do 4 smalls. We would like for your partner to have at least a medium item to open. Item should be based off of your partners questionnaire, Pinterest,  and what else you find while stalking them. Extras are allowed, however, keep in mind you may not receive as much as you send. There is a limit of 3 extras since extras can't be discussed with your partner.

Your crafted item MUST be wrapped so that if  your partner chooses to open their box, they can place their gifts under their tree, or display as they chose to. (Extras do not have to be wrapped.) Please don't forget to include a sealed note so that when your partner opens their gifts, they will know who to thank for their gift. Inside the note please do not forget to include your Craftster name.

You may post pictures of your wrapped present as you receive, if you wish. This is not required. Try to post pictures as  quickly as possible during Opening Party Weekend. If you are unable to post pictures that weekend, please let your group leader know ahead of time that you will be posting late, and post as soon as you can.
If you are busy/out of town this weekend, you won't receive negative comments for posting pictures a day or two late as long as your group leader knows you will be posting late.

By Time
-Large = 3 or more hours
-Medium = 2 or more hours
-Small = 2 or less hours

By Price
-Large = $30 or more
-Medium = $10-$30 dollars
-Small = $10 or less

Everyone MUST have a pinterest or Etsy favorites with at least 25 items...and please try to make sure that the majority of these items are craft-able (not all furniture, electronics, books, etc!!) The organizers will be checking to be sure you have fulfilled this before you are added to the swap.

Please make sure to fill out the questionnaire fully, and include all the information for your secret partner that you can. Take your time in filling out the questionnaire. Please take several days to think of a full comprehensive list for your partner because your partner will not be able to ask you questions, so make sure you give lots of info.

The kicker to this swap is that you must WAIT to open your package! Put it under your tree or have your SO or roommate hide it from you. Well have a party of opening and posting our gifts on the weekend of the 13-14th of December.

If you are in the United States, you must get a DC# for your package. Outside the United states you must be able to send a scan or picture of the receipt. The other requirement is that you need to write Secret Santa Swap Party somewhere on the package! This way no one gets accidentally confused and open up their present early!

You will PM all of your sending and receiving info to the person in charge of your group and NOT to the person you're crafting for!

Communication requirement: we expect everyone to post at least once a week on the thread or send a message to your group leader. If you havent posted in a week, we will PM you. If you dont respond to the PM within a week of that, you will have poor communication in your feedback. If youre going on vacation, or you know that you wont have internet access for a while, let us know! We want this swap to go as smoothly and as fun as it can. We also understand that there are some more quiet people who only like to read. For your post just give an update. Still researching my partner at this time is an acceptable post (or whatever your status might be at the
time). Please only sign-up if you know that you can follow through to the end! We don't want flakers! Communications is very important for this.

12  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Hockey Swap on: August 29, 2014 08:24:36 AM
We're getting close to October and the new season. Would anyone be interested in a hockey swap? I'm thinking something small-ish, but open to whatever.
13  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Dec. Birthday Swap (with Nov. birthdays too?) on: November 08, 2013 04:50:05 AM
Is there enough interest in a Dec. Birthday swap? Maybe make it a Nov/Dec swap? Us December babies get kind of ripped off since everyone is busy holiday crafting.  Grin
14  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Dishcloth Swap on: January 29, 2013 07:28:49 PM
Is anyone interested in a dishcloth swap? I don't think we've had one in a while. Or maybe we have and I totally missed it. This is one of my favorite swaps. I'll be happy to organize.
15  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / Changing Negative Feedback for Poor Communication on: July 15, 2012 09:00:42 AM
If you receive negative feedback for poor communication is angeling the only way to change it? You obviously can't make it up by sending the package to your partner since it's only communication you received the negative for.
16  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / ATCs from January on: February 02, 2012 01:49:57 PM
One of my crafty resolution this year was to post more of my things on Craftster. Here are the cards I made in January.

17  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Rough Cut Diamond Ring on: January 17, 2012 11:22:46 AM
I saw a ring similar to this on Etsy. It sold. I found a seller that sold rough cut diamonds. It took me forever to find wire small enough. I had to use 30 gauge. I thought I was going to go blind getting the diamonds on the wire.

18  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Cam Ward on: November 08, 2011 05:02:15 PM
Little Bean is somewhat obsessed with Cam Ward (goalie for the Carolina Hurricanes.) He wanted to be either pizza or Cam Ward for Halloween.

19  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Halloween Ornaments on: August 25, 2011 10:39:24 AM
I made these guys to go on my Halloween tree.

20  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Vanilla Almond Milk on: August 23, 2011 02:23:26 PM
I have a whole carton of vanilla almond milk that is going to expire in a couple of days. I'm not a big fan of smoothies. What can I make with it? Can I substitute it for plain milk?
