1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Gamer Appliques on: September 07, 2010 08:43:29 AM
My DH wants me to crochet scarves for 13 of his friends for Christmas. I am working on the 4th plain black scarf, but since they are all really into video games, I'm looking for something to make them a little more personal- maybe an applique for some sort of video game- a Mario Mushroom or whatever little video game mascot pattern I can find to sew to the ends. All I've found so far is a pattern for a pokeball. Does anyone know where I might find some more?

My DH and I just moved to Fayetteville in October. We have a 7 month old son who monopolizes most of our time, but when I'm not working I LOVE to crochet.
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Star Trek Ornament Baby Mobile on: April 17, 2007 01:52:01 PM
I'm pregnant and thought it would be neat to use my husbands Star Trek Christmas ornaments as the baby's mobile if it turns out that I'm having a boy.   I thought about buying a cheap mobile and just replacing whatever is hanging from it with the ornaments, but a lot of them light up or make noise, so I don't know if there would be a way to hook them up so that they could actually work. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make it?
