1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / EEYORE bag!!! on: October 20, 2007 07:44:18 AM
so its my friends birthday and she loves Eeyore - so i decided to make her a bag.
Iv never used pvc vinyl material so i found it a little more difficult than usual but i'm so pleased with how it came out.

I made the Eeyore by printing off a picture and cutting the basic shape out of material then embroided all the features onto it using a back sparkly thread. I then added detail to the tail and hair to make them stand out a little more using beads and sequins, then i simply glued it to the bag. I thought the little stars which shine different colours, but you cant see it on the pictures just added a nice touch.

I then used a black string and a thinner white sparkly string which i wrapped round the black to make the strap.

i felt at the end it just needed something else so i used the black sparkly thread and added some silver to it to make it stand out a little more and just embroided her name in the corner i thought the almost messy angled look went better with the eeyore

I am very pleased with this bag and i hope you like it and more importantly i hope she likes it!

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / my new uni bag! on: September 05, 2007 04:02:46 PM
i had a t-shirt that i shrunk in the wash, but i loved the front and decided that it would look awesome on a bag. Then i used an old pair of trouses for the rest and the lining of an old skirt, but i love how it turned out and it fits all my folders for uni perfectly!!

let me know what you think  Smiley

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Because i love TINKERBELL!! on: September 05, 2007 03:53:02 PM
i love tinkerbell, and i am very happy with how this bag turned out, although i originally wanted the handles to tie at the top, but i ran out of material. Theres a few lose threads that i forgot to trim before i took the pictures, but thats all they are.
All in all though i thought it turned out good, id love to know what you think - i hope you like  Smiley
