101  U.K. AND IRELAND / ENGLAND / Re: US to UK English translation! Aaaaarrghhhh! on: November 01, 2007 04:23:20 PM
This Thread is so funny.

The one I like best is UK   :  Caravan
                               USA :  Trailer
In the UK a trailer is an open top box on wheelies to carry stuff behind a vehical. And don't get me started on the pronounciation of Vehical. In the USA it sounds like you have got the hickups halfway through.

103  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Nightmare before Christmas- ZERO! (img heavy) NOW WITH LINK TO PATTERN!!!! on: November 01, 2007 12:42:37 PM
Well I finally finished...have so many projects going for Christmas I don't know what to do with myself. The pattern works wonderfully and it turned out perfect! Thanks again for the pattern. This happy little fellow will spend the rest of his ghostly existence in the Haunted Mansion breakroom, unless I can sneak him into the ride Wink (shhh!)

Good job. I will look out for him when I visit in January.

Is the rose painted on the back of the pendant? It looks to me like the shapes have been carved or maybe sanded to shape.
