Here's what I sent jadey_mcshadey for May. The purse is reversible, so I've posted 2 pics of it. There's a jello mold, jello, kool-aid, mint tea (for iced tea), magnets, sea shell glass marbles, hawaiin postcards, a Lawrence coloring book, a skull candle, and a marble skull necklace:

I really loved these tea towels: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=34046.0
so when I found this square dancing fabric in the clearance bin, I was inspired to make this.

Here's the one norsgoebel sent me. I wasn't sure where to start with this, so she suggested I start at the beginning. If you take into consideration that I live in Kansas, and our state is in the middle of debating the theory of evolution, you can see why I'm just not sure what to do.  Kiss

I'm glad it got there! It was a lot of fun to make.
The white embroidered cloth is a tea towel (sublime stitching pattern).
And the necklace is a fortune cookie necklace. You can change the fortune or put other pictures or notes in it.

I took a pic this morning of Henry, who I suspect is bringing me the poison ivy on his fur. I just thought he looked so cute and innocent, as he lies there spreading the ivy oils...

Here's my package from Melmelon:
It included little notes that made me laugh outloud. I didn't think the knitting needle case was fugly at all -- I think it's funky! I love it (purple and green are 2 of my fav. colors)-- I just need to finish all my projects so I'll have needles to put in it. Right now they are stuck in the middle of sweaters and scarves that aren't done.

My daughter appreciated that you thought of her, too (although she didn't appreciate that you thought she might use the dishcloth to help do dishes). She said the chocolate truffle lip balm tastes just like a chocolate truffle. I kept the honey vanilla for myself (2 of my favorite flavors).

There's also a kicky felted purse (did you knit that??!), an altoids tin scented candle, 2 little sewing kits, a little art project for my kid, and a cool flat rock (which I may use for a stained glass project).

Thanks again!

The only thing I took a pic of was the pillow (it was my favorite and very fun to make). I forgot to take a picture of the rest of it.  Tongue

19  fortune necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by poppet on: April 29, 2005 09:14:07 AM
I made fortune frames last year for my annual craft booth, and this year I'm adding necklaces. This is the first one I made. I'm also making some that will hang horizontally. The fortune can easily be changed since the glass piece on back is slightly shorter than the one on front.

20  new pillow: audrey hepburn in Needlework: Completed Projects by poppet on: April 29, 2005 09:10:50 AM
Here's a recent pillow I made. It's supposed to be Audrey Hepburn...but I'm not so sure you can tell.

The back is black velvet.
