I've recently found a website and bb board devoted to weddings like this. Both you and Kpooh might find some inspiration. I love the website so far. There are tons of ideas etc - I think i've been scoring their old post for the past few days straight. lol. All their weddings are so beautiful. Check it out! There are sections for just about every aspect of a wedding.

you might have to register to view the boards though. I cant remember. but its definately worth it Smiley

Thanks for the congrats everyone! And thanks Michl what you said makes sense. I have a few people in mind that I want to ask but I also want to make sure that my FH has the same amount of attendants. I like to be symetrical (sp?)

Is it common also for say a junior bridesmaid to not be paired up with anyone? I was thinking of asking my FH youngest neice to be in the wedding party because I really think she would just be thrilled to be apart of it, but there isnt anyone to pair her up with. She is to old to be a flower girl and I dont really want to ask her to be one. We are thinking of asking her younger brother to be the ring bearer (he is 8ish) and the right age from that. I think it would be odd to pair those two together but is it odd to have both apart? If that makes sense. Maybe not so for the ring bearer. There aren't any little girls in either side of the family - they either in there teens or cant walk yet! Smiley

Its hard deciding on a bridal party! geez lol but still fun at the same time!

6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: May 2008 Birthday Swap Gallery on: June 02, 2008 09:54:15 AM
I received last week from phoenixfiredesigns! She spoiled me!

This is what my package looked like when it arrived Smiley Lots of little hand drawn pictures all over the paper.

Then there were three lip glosses (im addicted to lip chap/lip gloss) A pair of earrings and a bracelet (both with stars in them) these were inside a beaaautful star box that she hand painted. The first thing I did when I saw the bracelet was slip it on my wrist!

This is the awesomest box ever! thanks so much. I loove how it turned out!

She also sent me a whole bunch of different teas. (I tried the african tundra one this past weekend and your right it is the best!)

and lastly she sent me some apple blossom scented foot scrub, shower gel and a candle!

Thanks so much! I love everything! I hope you like what I sent you! Smiley

8  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / just engaged!! :) on: May 13, 2008 03:02:33 PM
so my bf proposed to me on my birthday (may 8th - and has to be like the best b-day present ever!) and I am super excited. I'm definately wanting to do a medievel themed wedding and my bf is totally down with that. We are thinking of getting married in or around june 2009. Not sure of a lot of things like budget etc because we have to sit down and figure out stuffs, but one questions I do have is how long did you guys wait to ask who you want in your wedding? I mean I still have to completely decide who I want to ask but I dont know when a reasonable amount of time to ask before the wedding is? I know myself I want to get my butt in shape before I go dress shoping etc and I feel like I should give my maids enough time to do the same if they want to as well.

Just curious - also does anyone have any suggestions of books/webbys that is good for helping plan a wedding?

thanks so much! Smiley

Hey Birthday gals! My name is Krissy and I will be turning 29 on May 8th. Smiley I really don't feel like I am or should be almost 30! But I am. I love all things medievel, love reading, and of course doing anything crafty. My favorite colours are black, orange, silver and blue, but lately I have had this strange obssession with pink as accents! Which is strange and very much clashes with my red hair - but I still love it Smiley My favorite genre to read is fantasy, especially George RR Martin or Robert Jordan. I currently live with my boyfriend of almost 6 years. We also have two little bratty cats named Gimli and Mantisaur, whom we got from the same litter about three years ago. I love anything with stars on it, still love all those 80's cartoons and tv shows and all things medievel.
I also am a big fan of World of Warcraft and seem to have wayy to many alts Smiley

Hope everyone has a good birthday!
