1  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Re: log cabin help on: September 13, 2008 02:10:28 AM
Hello! Did it look like the quilt at the bottom of this page or did it look more like this? Those are the two versions that spring to mind....

Once I have a better idea of exactly which log cabin variation you have in mind, I'll see if I can scrounge up patterns/instructions for you.  Smiley

3  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / Re: general "sewing questions" board on: May 07, 2008 05:58:48 PM
This would make things so much simpler! It would be awesome to be able to look at all sewing machine-related topics in one place, and it would save a lot of hassle when trying to ask or answer questions.  Wink
4  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Re: Let's see your sewing machine!! on: May 06, 2008 09:18:44 AM
Its such good fun seeing what everyone is sewing on.  Smiley
I have a two old machines given to me and I would really like to know more about them. I have tried all the usual places including vintage sites but had no luck. Is there any one here who knows about them?

The top one is a Singer 15 that has been painted orange. It looks like the serial number has been removed/painted over. =) I just got a Singer 15 at a garage sale and am trying to fix her up myself!
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: must..make...this....dress!!!! *help finding a pattern on: April 30, 2008 08:38:00 AM
None of these are exact matches, but they're fairly similar....

Simplicity 3780
Simplicity 3823
McCall's 5580
McCall's 4826

That's all I have for now, I need to leave for school in a few minutes. Hope it helps! Cheesy

8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: MINIDRESS! on: February 08, 2008 01:41:30 AM
I absolutely adore the sleeves on that minidress!!!

Oh my god. I was trying to figure out why the hell that girl and the background buildings/trees in that picture look so familiar, and then I realized.... "Hey, that's Coeur d'Alene!" I don't know your friend, but I'm 99.9% sure I've seen her before.

Haha, sorry that sounded so stalker-ish, but that was a very surreal moment. Grin
9  COOKING / Dessert / Re: gotta catch 'em all- pokeball cookies on: January 12, 2008 07:18:20 PM
Those cookies are making me hungry. Apparently I have no self-control.  Cry I might have to try these for a friend, I think she'd get a kick out of them!
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Curtain Call--Lolita-inspired cord dress on: January 12, 2008 07:04:19 PM
I adore your work!  Grin That is so cute. And I echo what the first commenter said, I love the idea of having a scene or two in the windows.... there's so many possibilities with that dress, now I want to make one with removable scene panels so I can change it according to my mood.  Cheesy
