1  Re: World of Warcraft Addicts Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by Suriah on: June 05, 2008 10:24:40 PM
I received my package from elisegreene last night, and it is fantastic!  She made me a soulshard bracelet, a hearthstone mirror, a voidwalker glass, and an amazing ebon shadowbag soul pouch.  If you didn't guess my main is a warlock Cheesy

Here is a group shot:

There are better photos here on a slideshow:

On the slideshow there is a close-up of the fabric, it took me a few minutes to notice, but it has this wicked skull pattern on it!  The bag is so classic-looking, it was so neat to look closer and see the true warlock-ness come through.  This bag was definitely made to hold the souls of my enemies... (with room for makeup and a cell phone!)

This was such a great swap and Elise you were an awesome partner!!

these are my babies, lizzie and twitch with my boyfriend Adam (hes actually hairer then they are lol........) obviously no shearing for them Smiley

I also wanted to mention that my local HRS frequently has Angoras because they are considered 'special' and harder to adopt out due to the extra care they require.  but they're still so darn cute <grin>

4  My plastic bottle beads in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Suriah on: May 16, 2007 11:45:05 PM
I saw verdilak's tut on here and had to try it myself Cheesy  These were so much fun to make!!  I was thinking this would be fun for crafting with boyfriend's nieces/nephews/cousins over the summer.  I thought if I (or one of the older kids) cut the strips everyone could color on them with markers and then I would do the melting (as safe as a heat gun seems I am not able to trust the kids with it Cheesy)  Anyways, I love this idea, thanks so much for the tutorial!!
Sorry the pictures are so bad-i was having trouble zooming in.

5  the mostest boringest but pretty pillows in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by Suriah on: May 16, 2007 11:30:26 PM
I made these for my boyfriend's mum for mother's day (they were from both of us- I just did the work hehe).  They are just completely boring regular pillows but I really wanted to show people (this is only my second project post).

The spot on this picture is actually just a shadow

A little bit better pic- with my sneakers Cheesy

A close up of the fabric-it is so pretty! I have to figure out what to do with the leftovers!

6  Summery tote in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Suriah on: May 16, 2007 11:18:58 PM
Hi there!
This is my first finished project post so be nice Grin.  I made this for my mum for mother's day.  Its just a basic little tote but I liked the lemon fabric a lot- my mum loves provincial fabric and it kind of reminded me of that.  The inside is lined with blue and white gingham.  It can be reversed but since I added a cuff to the top it looks sorta silly turned the other way Cheesy  This was my first larger project on my new sewing machine, too. Its not the best bag ever made, but I had fun Cheesy

I hope the pictures worked!
