Thanks for all of your comments everyone. Grin
I love the handmade paper with flowers in it idea.  maybe this would work to mount a program sheet on - since handmade paper tends to be thicker and have too much of an uneven surface for writing. I could put a small note at the bottom of the page explaining what the flowers are. I could also make a larger more artistic sheet of some to be framed for us...oh with portions of copied love letters mixed in!! I'm rambling Cheesy but just so excited! Thank you all!

Beautiful! I think the watermark is great, not too dark or light.  And it doesn't matter if the papers are different shades of brown - they're all going to different people, so no chances to compare!  Grin

Hi everyone!
I have only been engaged for two weeks and am already bookmarking topics on this board like crazy! You all have some great ideas!

Maybe you can help with this.  I have saved and dried all the flowers given to me over the 10 years of dating my boyfriend.  I would like a creative way to use these on our wedding day.  They are mostly separate petals, no stems.  My only thought was to give small sachets as favors, but I don't think there would be enough...I have about 4 of the gallon size ziploc bags full.
any thoughts?

Thank You!!

chckpeas = yummy!  Cheesy
thanks for the recipe littleredrobot!
one question - do you get those skins that peel off the chickpeas when you rinse them?  if yes what do you do?  I usually don't mind them, but was thinking of making this for a picnic and wasn't sure if others would be turned off by them... thanks!

As for the cord, maybe a small aligator clip that you could clip on the neckline of your shirt?

As a note, a quaternium or polyquaternium isn't a preservative.

Ooops, sorry, its "quaternium-15" The allergen patch test info sheet my doctor gave me says that other types of quats don't generally cause allergic reations - I'm just nervous to try any out after the hell I went through before  Undecided  Maybe I can buy some trial sizes and do patch skin tests.
Unfortunately Germall is listed under other substances to which you may react on my sheet - under the formaldehyde-releasing presevative section -  Shocked scary sounding!
Anyway thanks for helping guide me through - these names are all so confusing - its a little overwhelming!
Thats why I love craftster! Where else someone would take so much of their time to help a stranger!  Thank you! Grin

Do you know exactly what you can't use -- preservatives, ingredients, and the like?
Yes, preservatives are what I am allergic to....quanternium, methylchloroisothiazolinone, thimerosal and more Tongue
It totally makes sense that the liquid mixtures would need a presevative though, duh me Roll Eyes
I can't wait to try the solids you suggested! Thank you so much!

Aloe vera is a great moisurizer, I love it, you can get it at almost 100% pure! I get mine at a health food shop, but you can actually use it striaght off the plant.
I want to check this out too, off to Healthworks!   Smiley Thanks for the tip!
