1  BONES in RESIN using a hand made mold. PICS!!! Questions welcome! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by sheratzapan on: December 02, 2008 03:23:31 AM
I am super please with these new necklaces!
I found these amazing old bones at my ma's place - made a latex mold out of them (which took FOREVER!) and vwa-la!

The final product and the original bones:

I love the shape of this one

All comments / questions welcomed...am more than happy to share my knowledge of resin (or lack there of).

2  New obsession...... lots of pics! in Quilting: Completed Projects by sheratzapan on: October 01, 2008 09:35:23 PM
My apologie sif this is in the wrong section? I couldn't find anywhere for blankets, and this was the closest, though i wouldn't exactly call them quilts.

Recently some friends have been breeding away like rabbits, which means baby presents for all. 'Ting' went the light bulb in my head. I'll make them something for their babies. Something they can keep. Something usefull. But is has to be funky.
Tadaaa! blankies for bubalubs made from funky fabrics.
And now, it is my new obsession. I'm churning out  more blankies than they are babies :-)
All questions/comments loved!

This one is definetly made for little boys:

It's super soft like one of dad shirts

And the patterns sooooo fun

And who doesn't love leopard print?

This ones made from gorgouse muslin and it's massive!

I'm just loving patchwork!

Thanks for looking! all feedback appreciated and questions loved :-)

3  New Blankies in Quilting: Completed Projects by sheratzapan on: September 01, 2008 06:55:25 AM
I've recently started making patchwork baby blankets/quilts out of some beautiful old fabrics I had.
I made this one out of some gorgouse vintage print fabrics I found.

Would love some feedback/suggestions as I am new to 'quilting'

It's got a nice soft and cosy fleece backing to it.

Ok, after lots of fideling about, these are a couple of my lastest resin pendants....I'm really into the japanese embossed paper....

all feedback appreciated......am not sure about the gold bits on the Ace card......blingin or trashy? can't decide  Smiley

the black background seems to work really well with the red glitter. i love my new resin dyes!

this is just a peice of embossed foil, but i think it looks nice....might be better with a more leafy green background?
