well, I guess I'm probably posting on this way after you've already gotten ideas on where to go with your shirts, but I wanted to post anyway! I think the one I like best is at the very top of the post, but I also really like the "live" templated one with splatter paint. I think you should make several versions of that with different words. I like the one with the chick that has birds coming out of her neck a lot, but I also feel like I've seen it somewhere before or that it's not very orginal.
Anyhow, I love them! keep up the good work!

I love the dresses, but I'm actually commenting on the tattoos. I hope that's not too annoying, but you have beautiful tattoos! I love the tomato- why didn't I think of that!

Wow, I really like that! It looks professional yet modern and even a bit sexy. I also love the obi, it's very pretty.

16  COOKING / Vegetarian / Vegan / Re: How to get a picky guy to try vegetarian dishes? on: January 15, 2008 10:43:17 AM
I had a boyfriend who was raised in the midwest, and it was also hard to convince him that vegetarian food is not only OK, but delcious. One thing I did to break him in was to take him to an all vegetarian restaurant in our city (Watercourse foods, Denver), that featured things like burgers, fajitas, and sandwiches made with meat substitutes. He had a veggie burger and claimed he liked it better than a regular burger! Even though he forgot about that later, he didn't freak out every time I cooked him a vegetarian meal in the future.
If you're like me, your vegetarian experiments don't always taste as good as they should. That's why I took him somewhere I knew was good first. I think a lot of the time people claim they don't feel "full" after eating a vegetarian meal is because they didn't like it, and thus they didn't eat as much of it as they normally would if it was a triple meat lovers pizza.
17  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / looking for a knitted scoodie pattern on: January 10, 2008 12:05:57 PM
Have you seen these? It's a scarf with a hood. I've seen lots of patterns and ideas about how to reconstruct these out of old clothing, but I'd like to knit one. I know I could just knit a scarf and a hood and then sew them together, but I'd like to find a pattern where it is all one piece and knitted as one piece. Anyone seen something like this?
