quikroxy, i used far less than one skein, so it was very affordable.

quikroxy,
thanks for the compliments! it's been a few months, but i think i made my cami a little longer than suggested. Other than that, i think i followed the pattern pretty closely.
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / making wallpaper into a triptych? on: September 20, 2006 08:12:24 PM
hi all!
my boyfriend and i just moved into a great new place, and we're trying to decide how to decorate our walls. call me cheesy, but i love kitschy landscape wallpaper. i fear we'll seriously damage our walls or otherwise hate the full-on wallpaper look, so i'm considering creating a triptych with the wallpaper by putting each strip of wallpaper on a seperate canvas. thoughts? here's the one we're considering.

pamelabee, thanks for the compliment!
i always forget to say what size i made. i knit the small but added maybe two or three inches because i like things a tad longer in the torso.

i've enjoyed looking through all of the great razor camis in this knit-along -- so i thought i'd post mine as well. i knit this in yarn pirate yarn, the sweetheart colorway. i know, it's not the best photo.

So here is my rusted root in dusty sage. This was a great knit -- definitely recommend it.

thanks for the compliments -- i am using the recommended yarn, cotton fleece, in dusty sage. (that sounds like a stripper name, huh?)

seems i posted this in the wrong place before -- didn't realize that there was a knitalong already!

I haven't been working on this exclusively yet, but I'm really enjoying it so far.   it's pretty simple, but the lace pattern keeps me on my toes.

9  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Luuuurrve the new Zephyr style pattern "rusted root" on: August 16, 2006 03:14:10 PM
Anybody still working on this? I've been a little sidetracked with other projects, but this is what I have so far. I'm really enjoying this pattern -- it's pretty simple, but the lace pattern keeps me on my toes.

10  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Knitalong for Jems? on: August 09, 2006 08:34:31 AM
dunno if anyone is still knitting these, but i just finished up my diamonique and figured i'd post it. i'm not much of a lace knitter, so i struggled a bit at first with the pattern. but i'm glad i stayed with it:

as always, more info on the blog.
