You guys are so talented, these are all awesome homes, I love them!  So wanting to give this a try next time it come up...brilliant ideas all the way through the gallery/discussion...awesome!

That's the beauty of craftalongs, you can basically join in at any time, in most cases.

Speaking of which, I got my gothic house together, mostly, for the dry run and some of the parts are a really tight fit. I could barely get the roof onto the second floor.

I won two houses off ebay and they got here today, the gothic victorian and the stupidly complicated fantasy villa. Will attempt to attack the gothic first. Cheesy

I've been working some more on my cardboard houses, when the sun comes back I might take some more pics but in the meantime, I just say this: http://www.instructables.com/id/Build-a-Gingerbread-Brownstone/ since one gingerbread house had already been adapted i thought maybe this might be of interest. Cheesy

I may have just read every page on this thread. Ahem. I also might have managed to find one of these houses, provided the price doesn't go up much before the auction's over, fingers crossed. (Downside of Australia. Sigh.)

meanwhile, I have a box I might attempt to make into a small house.

best small animal patterns I've found are on Runo's blog: http://nuno-runo.blogspot.com/ they're not hard, just a little fiddly and there's a few different sorts.

However if you want them as small as a few inches, perhaps you could make them out of clay.

If you wanted to do monopoly I'd take the easy way out and decoupage an old monopoly board... Cheesy
