1  Baby blue baby romper--Two years in the making. in Knitting: Completed Projects by expressmail on: August 02, 2010 10:50:07 PM
I must admit, my fellow craftsters, that it's been AGES since I posted anything to this site, and even longer since I've crafted seriously. Sadly, medical procedures got in the way of my crafting, and only recently did I begin to create again. Actually, not begin, as much as finish.

I started this right before my medical evaluations that eventually lead to a lot of therapy, and just finished it tonight. It feels like finishing this really closed that (rather painful) chapter of my life, and just in time, because my friend is having a baby boy in December, so this warm little thing will be good for him.

Forgive the fact that it's on a teddy bear--it's the only thing I have that looks biological and baby-sized. It's made with Caron recycled yarn, so it's all old soda bottles, something his eco-conscious mama will love, and the yarn is actually really soft, so he'll like it too! And with that, I give you, my BABY BLUE BABY ROMPER.  Cheesy

That picture turned out a little blurry Sad

And this one taught me the valuable lesson of orienting the picture before I upload it...

And this one is neither blurry nor sideways, but is, in fact, a close-up of the buttons.

The fact is, I'm ecstatic to be finished, but as it's 11 at night, I'm too tired to fix the images, so I hope these work, and I guess the moral of the story is it's never too late to finish that project. YAY!

2  My One-Weeked Sweater in Knitting: Completed Projects by expressmail on: February 09, 2008 07:53:54 PM
I actually finished this sweater in a weekend ^_^ Mind you, the weekend was sitting in my barracks knitting, and nothing else, but the point is it took me one weekend to finish... with size 13 needles.

sorry the picture's sideways, i don't know how to fix it. anyway, it's my first complete sweater in ages, since i was little ^_^ so i'm proud.

Thanks for checking it out!

3  a quick grimoire in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by expressmail on: April 01, 2007 08:01:50 PM
My mad wicca self decided that since i've got my new herbal garden growing away, i needed a grimoire to keep track of what plants and herbs are good for what. So I threw this together in literally twenty minutes, which makes me a bit sad, since it looks pretty cheaply made. which it is... but it's my first book so i'm not too upset about it. okay, i am upset, but i'm pretending to like it. It will do it's job. i'll leave it at that... ... why am i even posting this? oh well. here you go. my herbal grimoire:

4  Le Muffin du Diable in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by expressmail on: March 28, 2007 04:39:12 PM
Um this is the Le Muffin du Diable, and his good friend, Mephistopheles Toast. I got inspired one day and doodled them in a notebook. Showed them to a friend and she loved them so much, i decided to give them to her. So here they are! First thing I've ever really completed and been somewhat proud of...  Embarrassed
