21  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Sharpie on Lasagna Noodle! on: January 02, 2013 02:30:24 PM
Yup, it's just what the title might suggest.

My kids were "helping" me in the kitchen, and I was trying to get them out of my hair.  I gave them very old lasagna noodles to color on.  Regular markers worked much better than my attempt with Sharpies.  However, none of the girls' noodles lived to be photographed.  The other fun thing to do with the noodles included stomping them on the linoleum.

Happy New Year!

23  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Macrame owl - it's time for a comeback! on: July 29, 2012 08:03:57 PM

With all the owl love in the craft world at the moment, I don't know how the macrame owl hasn't made a comeback already.

Me either!  Thanks for reminding us about the old-school owls!  (I live on Owl Drive, and have been looking for more Owl crafts)

26  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / **Mee-Mee-Mee**(Bunsen and Beaker) on: May 30, 2012 01:34:25 PM
I made these for the Jim Henson Swap, but wanted to share.  I thought they were so cool!  They are wooden spoons with acrylic paint. No coating, so not really suitable for kitchen use.  I'm thinking of what other Muppets would be good on spoons or spatulas. Any ideas?

Ha-ha! Enjoy!

That is fantastic!  I think the LED really makes it great!

The 10th Doctor was my first.  As they say, "You never forget your first Doctor."

The whole shebang:

Her most intense craft:  Animal in Fimo:

Sweetums Charm: (BTW, it's so hard to find anything with Sweetums!  THANK YOU!)

Animal with his new favorite friend, the Bantha!

the funniest part is we sent the same stickers!
And, she sent little board books for my littlest one, and an Animal Pez for the oldest!
I couldn't've asked for a better swap partner!  Thanks, PhemBot!
