1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Fusible Interfacing (aww look at the n00b) on: August 16, 2007 09:18:27 AM
What is it for? What happens if you don't use it?

I have a shirt pattern to make for my dd, have the fabric but didn't see that I needed fusible interfacing (yea, I'm a n00b). It's supposed to be around the collar area. What is it's purpose and how would it effect the shirt if I were to omit it?
2  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Where can I get tracing paper? on: August 15, 2007 09:37:42 AM
At a decent price Wink I don't want to cut my patterns, so I want to trace them. Does anyone do this? Any suggestion on what to use and where to get it?
3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / My first ever sewing project! (with pics) on: May 15, 2007 03:30:30 PM
My family got me a sewing machine for Mother's Day. My very first machine Smiley It's a Janome 2139 and I couldn't wait to get started!

So today I made my dd a skirt Cheesy It took about 2 hours total ( not bad considering I have a 2 year old and a 8 month old)

I made a few mistakes, so I know what to different in the next one Smiley I'm so excited to finally have my own machine! Here are the pics!

ok, lol since I'm a n00b, here are LINKS to the pics hehe
