1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: My First Sweater on: August 19, 2010 01:41:09 PM
Could you give directions on how you modified the neckline.  I don't see myself in an off the shoulder look either.

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Another knitted rabbit brooch on: March 21, 2009 11:29:32 AM
I think we might be waiting a long time on a pattern.  I searched and found the first brooch was posted  March 2008 and there were several patten requests but no post of pattern  also I got on funiscool's blog and saw that she sells these brooches so she may not be to willing to post after all.  We may just have to make up our own patterns.  The brooch looks like it is 2 pieces sewn together and stuffed to me.  Does anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks in advance for the pattern

I teach at my LYS and the policy is $5 per hour for the instructor and then $5 for the store example a 3 hour class would cost $20 and I wpuld make $15 supplies are extra.
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Can You Recommend a Felted Bag Pattern For my Trip? on: December 16, 2005 11:18:37 AM
The new issue of Knitters magazine has a large felted satchel on the cover that might be just what you need

I usually knit my purse straps in garter stitch and use double the yarn and it works out really well.  The garter stitch ridges do not felt out smooth so it gives a nice contrast and also helps hold the strap on.
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Tuesday Morning yarn find on: October 11, 2005 06:41:13 PM
I know what you mean about Tuesday Morning.  I had been several times and thought it was a mess but I read a post on the HGTV message board from a woman who had found some yarn there so I ventured back and I had ask them if they had any yarn because I never would have found it on my own.  Good luck hunting
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Tuesday Morning yarn find on: October 11, 2005 06:16:09 PM
I was in Tuesday Morning today and found some great yarn deals.  I got Trendsetter Aquarius yarn for 4.99 and Trendsetter Coconut yarn for 5.99. They had several other Trendsetter yarns for from 2.99 to 5.99.  They were in the back corner of my store on a bottom shelf.  I don't know if all stores are layed out the same or carry the same things but if you have a local Tuesday Morning it may  be worth asking them if they have any yarn.

That's what I thought but I wanted to make sure I had interpreted it right
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / How do I copyright a pattern? on: October 01, 2005 07:46:21 PM
I have come up with a pattern for a little party bag that my lys would like to sell the pattern for.  How do I go about copyrighting the pattern?  Thanks in advance for your help
