1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Rustic star ornament in about 15 minutes on: December 12, 2009 04:46:56 PM
Very pretty.
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Christmas presents I've made so far spending no money on: December 12, 2009 04:45:28 PM
I think everything looks great, but my favorite part was the part about the "wobbly bits".  Grin What a nice euphemism.
I'd like some of the coffee scrub for myself.
3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Lots of Upcycled Christmas Stockings on: December 12, 2009 04:41:36 PM

I made us all new stockings this year. The kids got the previously posted about Yo Gabba Gabba stockings. I made myself this tie dye one, out of I shirt I had tie dyed for myself, while I was pregnant.

I made this one for my husband, out of a burlap coffee sack. (I got the idea from the awesome Maya*Made blog.)

I made 14 of these little stockings, one for each member of the extended family. They're made of old blue jeans and felt.
4  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Shrinky Dink Yo Gabba Gabba Ornaments on: December 11, 2009 05:03:27 PM

I made these to decorate a little tree for my daughter. I used the printable puppets from Nickjr.com as my templates. I traced and colored them with Sharpies. She loves them.
5  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Brobee Stocking on: December 11, 2009 02:28:45 PM
I think I got it as a remnant at Wal Mart, several years ago. I actually made a Brobee pillow out of it, and had someone ask if I'd make them some. When I went back to Wal-Mart, they didn't have any, and Hobby Lobby didn't either. I wish I knew where to get some more. I made this stocking out of the teeny little bit I had leftover. It's about the same size as the Muno one.
6  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Some more playfood on: December 11, 2009 09:37:44 AM
Very cool. I love felt food. The popcorn is great.
7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Yo Gabba Gabba Muno and Plex Hats on: December 11, 2009 08:48:52 AM

I made these for the kiddos a while back. They're just a basic double crochet hat, with felt features hand sewn on. The kids loved them, and I'm working on the other characters slowly, but surely.

(By the way, they weren't intended to wear down over your eyes, but my son thought that was funnier...)
8  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Brobee Stocking on: December 11, 2009 07:15:04 AM

After making a Muno stocking for one of my kids, I made this Brobee one for the other. Our family loves Yo Gabba Gabba.

Love the Nintendo controllers. Awesome.

That turned out great! I made mine tiny because I wanted to fit the pattern on a felt square, which is all I had at the time. My kids would have probably preferred a bigger one. lol. Thanks for linking back to my blog. By the way, after you suggested it, I set up a flickr pool. Smiley
