Sorry I use the Creative memories  cutting system I was hoping to find something easier, not that creative memories is hard, I just want punches of every size available and they just don't make them big enough!  Roll Eyes  But glad to know this isn't any easier I was eyeing a few of these at Target the other nght.

In my experience white has not helped as much and for some reason does not emboss as well, but then it could be the brand I use.  Maybe try mixing some copper or white or colored pearlex in with your embossing powder or colored glitter made for stamping or embossing Tinsel, also see if they have a metalic orange somewhere, Metallics tend to show up better.  I've never seen Metalic orange, but then I have never looked for it.  I made some shower invitations where the red did not jump off the page and I mixed the glitter and silver embossing powder with the red and that worked well.

Thanks I will check that out, I see on splitcoaststampers.com, many prefer the cuttlebug, but I have not seen those in Texas, although I have not looked much, I kinda wanted to see them up close too.  Thanks

Or any other die shape cutter thing a majig. I am doing alot of stamping now I have my new crafting space at home and have vowed to pull out the 2 scrap books I started a few years back and finish them as well as my sons books.  I was thinking about adding  one of these  to use in my room for both my cards and scrapbooks.  Many stampers use the cuttlebug  because it has embossing folders  for dry embossing  I have not looke much at any of them  yet I was waiting for after vaction to buy one and would look then, Money is not really a problem I have saved up $500  to buy one with templates and other supplies I might NEED.  I wanted to know what y'all on here used and what you liked and disliked about it.  It hink word of mouth will ultimately be how I buy if one gets lots of bad reviews.  TIA

ANOTHER IDEA  for a doggie shirt, I made one for my Shih Tzu this year, I took an dold sweat shirt cut the sleeve off then cut the wrist band off too, measured him and cut two holes on the bottom for his front legs then decorated the back with paints and then bejeweled it, turned out super cute, also if you do that, make sure you cut up on the bottome= of the shirt to allow room for them to urinate with out gettingon the shirt.  Washes well and to top it off it didn't cost $10-$15 like they do at Target and it was way cuter.

OK being a mom Imight be able to help, if they are nto into crafty things but you can bead, make them a child bracelet, they are still trendy in the mommy circle and you bead a bracelet and Use a birthstone for each of their kids, ir make it 2 stranded and put y'alls name on it.  You know so If your mom has 3 kids one born in Jan, one born inOct, and one in July you bead it and put a garnet for JAn a pink stone fro  Oct and a ruby one for July.   It is symbolic of their kids and they would love it do you know when the baby is due then go ahead and add the stone for the month they are to be born.  Chances are BF mom will want to show it off to her patients.

I am in the process of taking over the study, the entire thing to do with anyway I like.  I have want to turn it into a craft room but I mainly stamp and scrapbook  so I need the main area  and table set up so I don't cover my entire workspace with junk I want it to be easy to get to at my fingertips and easy to put back into place when finished with it to move onto my next page. ( I.E. Stamp organizations, ribbon, glues, tapes embellishments etc)

If any of you have been lucky enough to move off of the dining room table into your own space could you show me yours?

I am in the process of stealing my dh's study  and I am planning it out now so I am looking for ideas, space should not be an issue for me but as of right now, other than crafting supplies I have nothing to store them in.  I want a table with a self healing mat board so I can do all my cuttin gfor my cards. I mainly do stamping and beading and misc. crafts.  I am personally looking for ideas for my table which I  hope will be L shaped and long, my dad will make it for me and then I want  on one end of the table to have cubby holes to keep all my stamping supplies at hand and within reach because right now I destroy the tables I am working at and within 10 minutes I can find nothing.  I also want one end set up and organized with and endless supply of beads and wire for beading
