1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Pink crocheted tam! Picture heavy, first time crocheter on: April 19, 2007 12:23:36 PM
This is my first, 110% successful, non-square project. It's....a big, slouchy tam! I've been wanting one so badly, so I whipped this up instead of spending $30+ on one at a fancy store. And now, pictures!

If for some reason the pictures don't work, just let me know.

PS: I used http://www.chezcrochet.com/page60.html as the basis for the tam. I followed very closely in the beginnning, but skipped about half of the end and made up my own decreases. It's a wonderful pattern though, and I highly reccomend it.
2  KNITTING / Knitalongs / "Sweater of Many Buttons" Knitalong! on: September 05, 2006 07:39:27 PM
I love this pattern and started it yesterday. I had to frog a bit of it because I forgot to knit the buttonholes, so I only have a few inches done, but by tomorrow I should be done with the raglan increases. Pictures forthcoming!

PS: Thanks to ohmystars for this awesome pattern!
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / First fair isle project... on: August 21, 2006 08:41:51 PM

I used http://ohmystars.net/craft/knitting/pfihat.html as a patttern with some slight modifications....but I basically just taught myself "stranded" knitting/fair isle knitting. I'm making one for my girlfriend, but in different colors and with earflaps.
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Fair Isle Cast-on? on: August 19, 2006 04:58:56 PM
This is probably something totally easy that I'm just not finding (and I've looked through books, used the search option on several forums, etc.), so I'm sorry if this has been asked a bazillion times, but...How does one cast on for fair isle knitting? (If if helps, I do long-tail cast on)
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Jersey-knit sheet holders? on: July 03, 2006 01:18:15 PM
Anyone know what I can do with these? They're jersey knit bags, medium sized, that held my originally came with and held my jersey knit sheets. Any project ideas for something like this? I have two of them, in colors that go nicely together.
6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Peach Cell Phone Holder! on: June 30, 2006 08:55:19 PM
This is part one of a 3-5 part birthday present for my girlfriend...her favorite colors are orange and brown, and her favorite fruits are peaches, so I decided to incorprate all of that into something useful- a cellphone holder! It's not 100% finished (I need to add a strap), but the bulk of it is done, and I was so excited that I had to show pictures.

I was going for the "big cute haphazard stitches!" look, but it came out looking like "ZOMG THE SEAMSTRESS WAS ON CRACK, LOL!!" stitches, so...yeah. Here it is!

PS: It was based on an iPod-holder tutorial I found in the tutorial list for this board, and inspired by the beaded-fruit iPod holders a few posts back, but I heavily modified the pattern, and I don't know how to bead. ^_^;;;
7  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Razor cami knitalong? on: May 30, 2006 11:02:03 PM
Anyone else interested in making http://ohmystars.net/craft/knitting/prazorcami.html this cami? I'm casting on for it right now...
8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Help finding a link on: March 01, 2005 10:37:50 AM
I'm having trouble finding a link for a certain website that's been posted on craftster before. The site has different t-shirt DIYs (ruching, cap sleeves, off the shoulder tops). Can anyone help me find it? Thanks!
9  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Record Journal, but a different sort... on: July 05, 2004 01:56:58 PM
I made a record journal after reading about them online, but the site I went to had no pictures. Now that I've actually made it (for a friend's birthday present) I'm all finding the kind that are square. Well, mine's a little different (sorry for the picture quality)

This is the outside

This is the inside.

I'll make a tutorial if anyone wants one, but it's pretty easy to figure out without one.

Ah, oh yeah, this is my first post. Hullo!
