curiousfae's package arrived at work the other day
and I squeeled when this little guy popped out of the box

amigurimi DIMEBAG DARRELL
the detail on him is incredible, his nose is pierced and he has a
teeny tiny razorblade charm necklace and a leather vest!.!
My coworker kept trying to steal him away...

she included a sweet note on a piece of paper
with this photo printed in the middle of it

which I lost =0( I took it out to show it off at a party and didn't realize
it was gone until I had left...I loved it though, it was wonderful
thank you so curiousfae!.! I absolutely cherish it <3

I love this.  I had the same question as roccstarr75 about it burning faster, but also does the bottle get hot, would i need to be careful what I set it on?

No, it doesn't get hot. The ring keeps it suspended and away from the bottom and sides, so it is safe to rest on things =0)

Thank you very much Panda!.! Sincerely appreciated!  Smiley

I've actually been looking at the old Jim Beam genie bottles I would LOVE to make one out of one of those!

the incense hangs down into the bottle like this...and I'm not sure if it make a difference in burning time I didn't think about that part...

THE BOTTLE IS ALUMINUM, NOT GLASS!.! I do not recommend hammering a glass bottle!.! Some special edition beers come in aluminum bottles...Snapple Elements (my favorite) used to come in aluminum bottles but I don't know if they make those anymore?

This certainly is no mess...all the ash gets caught in the bottle  Grin

My boyfriend and I went to a Philadelphia Phillies game the other day and enjoyed some beers that came in these awesome aluminum bottles...we had to take them home with us! Even at the ballpark I was brainstorming what to make out of them.

I've been wanting an incense burner for our living room and I have been swooning over those glass bottle burners but do not have the guts to use a drill on glass...
so I made a hole here...

in the center of the bottle, gently with a hammer and nail...and GENTLY widened the hole with a knife...

I poked the end of a Nag Champa incense (or you can use your favorite) through a keychain ring to suspend the incense when I dropped it burning (normally as you would any burner) into the bottle...and there you have it...

a house that doesn't smell like dirty old banana peels....uh erm..I mean..a pretty sweet and simple no mess bottle burner!
